His own co-workers are glad he’s getting the boot. Staffers at “Piers Morgan Live” are actually relieved that CNN has canceled the show, sources tell Confidenti@l.

“He was always such an a—— to people working for him,” one insider says of the bombastic Brit. Morgan’s last show is likely to be this week, but no specific date has been set. We hear it was low ratings and a bad attitude that killed it, and the decision was made by network boss Jeff Zucker. “The makeup girls suffered the worst — he was rude and belligerent,” says our source. “The general feeling is Morgan didn’t show any respect to anyone working under him — the people who were trying to make him look good.”   Continue reading “‘Piers Morgan Live’ staffers actually happy CNN canceled show: sources”

Southern California Weather Authority

A weaker system on Wednesday into Wednesday night will make way for the strongest system in three years to hit Southern California on Friday and this storm system will bring a lot of flooding, being the region has been so dry and thus people in the flood prone zones need to start preparing sandbags and doing flood preparations along the hillsides.

The system, currently out in the Pacific, has a strong southerly jet influence to it.  The storm is set to hit on Friday.  Upper divergence and jet dynamics suggest that heavy rain is likely south and west of the mountains, bringing in over two inches of rain in a short period of time, with higher amounts in the foothills.  The system will be the strongest in three years.   Continue reading “Southern California Major Storm Coming, Flood Preparations Underway”

Well, thank goodness we have First Lady Michelle Obama looking after our school-age children. Even though her last round of rules for school lunches collapsed (thankfully before the hungry kids did), the FLOTUS isn’t done yet with her meddling.

In a world where a place that sells sandwiches topped with crumbled up GMO Fritos is touted as healthy, it only makes sense that the woman promoting this restaurant to help fight childhood obesity is in charge of making up rules that are geared to keep kids in line.   Continue reading “FLOTUS and the USDA Ban Junk Food Ads from Schools, but Promote Neurotoxins as Healthy Choices”

BONNE TERRE, Mo. (AP) — A Missouri inmate was executed early Wednesday for abducting, raping and killing a Kansas City teenager as she waited for her school bus in 1989, marking the state’s fourth lethal injection in as many months.

Michael Taylor, 47, was pronounced dead at 12:10 a.m. at the state prison in Bonne Terre. Federal courts and the governor had refused last-minute appeals from his attorneys, who argued that the execution drug purchased from a compounding pharmacy could have caused Taylor inhuman pain and suffering.   Continue reading “Missouri executes man in ’89 rape, killing of teen”

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — While tiny houses have been attractive for those wanting to downsize or simplify their lives for financial or environmental reasons, there’s another population benefiting from the small-dwelling movement: the homeless.

There’s a growing effort across the nation from advocates and religious groups to build these compact buildings because they are cheaper than a traditional large-scale shelter, help the recipients socially because they are built in communal settings and are environmentally friendly due to their size.   Continue reading “Tiny houses help address nation’s homeless problem”

WASHINGTON (AP) — Mexico’s most powerful drug cartel leader employed high-tech communications gadgetry and sophisticated counterespionage practices to elude an international manhunt for 13 years, The Associated Press has learned. ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND (INTELLIHUB) — The first week marijuana was legalized in Colorado, a joke article by the website The Daily Currant claiming that 37 people died on the first day, went viral on social media sites.

The report was of course false, as The Daily Currant is a website much like “The Onion”that posts fake news stories that are satirical and meant to be funny. Even though the content of these articles are obviously false, many times people believe them and circulate them as truth because they don’t do enough research.   Continue reading “Police Chief testifies that cannabis killed 37 people in one day”

Why store seeds?

Storing seeds is important for you and your family. It is a form of insurance because it provides you a dependable long term food source when crap hits it. These seeds can be beneficial to your family when grown and harvested.

When storing seeds, make sure that you store only open-pollinated seeds like organic or heirloom seeds and not hybrid seeds which are artificially pollinated and mainly created for commercial farmers. Produce from hybrid seeds are often not as nutritious and tasty as produce from heirloom seeds. Also, hybrid seeds do not store well and plants from them gradually lose their quality in the second or third generation.   Continue reading “Seeds to Store for SHTF”
