CNN New Day host Chris Cuomo insisted Monday that just because video appeared to show Ferguson police shooting victim Michael Brown overseeing a drug deal, that doesn’t mean he was a “drug dealer.”

  1. I’d say a “dealer” is someone who routinely sells drugs, not someone who sells a dime bag once in a while. But that’s a matter of semantics.

Ultimately, it doesn’t matter if this Michael Brown guy sold drugs as long as he wasn’t selling them to children. There’s nothing wrong with providing drugs (especially weed) to an adult who wants them.

I can’t speak to Brown’s character otherwise. I doubt I’d have much in common with him. But even if I didn’t like him, I’d almost certainly think a lot more of him than of that pig who shot him.
