So, last weekend, a rodeo clown donned an Obama mask and stood in the ring as the announcer asked the assembled crowd if they would like to see Obama run down by a bull.
The crowd roared with approval.
In the end, the Obama masked clown ran away from the bull and out of the ring to the delight of the crowd but, that certainly wasn’t the end of it.
Oh no…
Senator Clair McCaskill and congressman William Lacy Clay issued a joint statement.
“I am amazed that in 2013, such hatred, intolerance and disrespect towards the President of the United States could take place at the Missouri State Fair. Our fair is supposed to showcase the best of Missouri, instead, it showed an ugly face of intolerance and ignorance to the world.”
While I am loathe to agree with 2 socialists…McCaskill and Clay were 100% correct…
The “ugly face of intolerance and ignorance,” OBAMA’S FACE, was indeed displayed to the world.
Missouri’s Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder, said it was “disrespectful” to the president.
According to fair goer, Perry Beam, “It was cruel. It was disturbing. I’m still sick to my stomach over it. … I’m standing here with a mixed-race family. My wife’s from Taiwan, and so was the student (his family was hosting). I’ve never seen anything so blatantly racist in my life.”
“It was feeling like some kind of Klan rally.”
Look, we can play “what if” all day and I’m not one who generally asks that question regarding the hypocrisy of the left but…
Back in 1994…at the PA State Fair…
“The big white gate flew open. The bull came out bucking. The rider flopped from side to side and the bullfighters held back, letting the bull make his moves until the rider dropped off. There was NO outrage.
NONE.
How about when a likeness of George W. Bush was impaled on a pole in Game of Thrones?

That was George and George W. BUSH and THIS time, it was OBAMA.
Having failed to brand George Zimmerman or Paula Deen, who was just vindicated when a COURT dropped RACISM charges against the TV Chef…Those on the left are SO desperate to find racism that they are now willing to wave the RACE CARD in front of a RODEO BULL and a CLOWN.
Was the bull in question red, white, brown or black?

David Berry, a Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association member with common sense and what seems like a pretty good BS detector stated, that the clown in question was a friend of his friend and, there was nothing offensive or unusual about his actions. Berry went on to state that dummies and rodeo clowns have often performed such acts, and often imitating sitting presidents.
“The joke is not that it was the president. They drag out this person dressed like a dummy and all of the sudden this dummy just takes off running. That’s what’s funny.”
That is EXACTLY what was done at the PA State Fair in 1994.

This time, however, the clown has been handed a LIFETIME BAN from performing at the MISSOURI State Fair.
Apparently, the 1st Amendment has died in Missouri.
That happens when rodeo clowns go rogue.
The president of the Missouri Rodeo Cowboy Association, Mark Fiken, has RESIGNED in protest of the fact that the ROGUE CLOWN has not been banned from HIS organization.
Well…THAT’S a strong statement…Especially because FIKEN himself was the ANNOUNCER asking the crowd if THEY wanted to see OBAMA run down by a BULL.
Coward.
A Daily Kos writer was so upset over the rogue clown and the blatant, overwhelming racism involved that he stated, “All I want is some heads to roll.”
All these socialists, fit to be roped and tied, with their collective chaps in a wad over a rodeo stunt and yet, not one of them even slightly wrinkled over Benghazi, the IRS, the NSA, Fast and Furious or any of the myriad of OTHER Obama abuses of power or treasonous acts.
Those are “phony” scandals but this…
