Barrett News

Barrett opposes those who are illegally disarming the American public from their efficient arms and creating superior armed elitist government agencies.

Elected state officials of New York, having been sworn to protect our Constitution, have instead committed an offense against it and their citizens by stripping inalienable rights duly protected and guaranteed under the Second Amendment. By their deliberate and sinister actions, these officials now cause their state and local policing agencies to enforce these unconstitutional and illegal so called “laws”.   Continue reading “Barrett’s Position Regarding the Assault on Liberty”

The price of a gallon of gasoline has risen for the past 34 days in a row as we Americans are being fleeced for the last few dollars we have left in our pockets.  It wasn’t that many years ago when the increase in gasoline prices was put forth as being in direct correlation with supply and demand.  When it finally reached the point that we Americans cut back on our gas consumption because we literally could not afford it anymore, the criminal oil cartels realized they had us right where they wanted us.

Back in the 70s, when this brand of extortion was first tried, American nationals quickly became fed up with the situation and started ripping pumps out of the ground in the middle of the night and the gouging stopped forthwith.  But that was back before we became civilized, or rather, institutionalized into the system.  I mean to attack the poor fellow that owns the gas station would just be the wrong thing to do.  Continue reading “Gas Price Gouging has become the Status Quo”

John Kerry used his first major speech as secretary of State to make that case that failing to confront climate change means missing big economic opportunities — and worse.

“If we waste this opportunity, it may be the only thing our generation — generations — are remembered for. We need to find the courage to leave a far different legacy,” Kerry said in a wide-ranging address Wednesday at the University of Virginia. Republican senators complained Wednesday that U.S. taxpayer dollars could end up boosting the Chinese economy, following reports that a Chinese firm is leading the pack of companies bidding for a majority stake in government-backed Fisker Automotive.

The troubled California-based electric car maker, which was backed by U.S. taxpayers to the tune of nearly $530 million, for months has been looking for a financial partner. Reuters reported earlier this week that China’s Zhejiang Geely Holding Group is favored to take over, though Fisker is also reportedly weighing a bid from another Chinese auto maker.  Continue reading “Senators raise alarm over another possible sale of taxpayer-backed firm to Chinese”

Last Resistance – by Mark Horne

If you were wondering how President Obama and Democrats plan to settle-up with all their foreign campaign contributors look no further than the 2013 State of the Union address. On February 12, in front of the entire world, the “food stamp” President announced that the U.S., the European Union, and our Pacific Trade Partners are negotiating a comprehensive global partnership to combine and implement both the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership Agreement (TAP) and the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP).

If you thought the first four years of Obama were alarming, wait until this global integration of cunning international law becomes a reality in America. Mind you, it is right around the corner, just ask our new Secretary of State John Kerry. Continue reading “Obama Opens Door Wider For A New World Government”

Representative Brian Greene, in an effort to support the individual right to keep and bear arms, has sponsoredHouse Bill 114, titled the “Second Amendment Preservation Act.” This bill upholds both the U.S. and Utah Constitutions, each of which declare that this right “shall not be infringed.” HB114 simply strengthens state code to stipulate exactly how that such an infringement will be dealt with. Pelosi Backs Obama on Secret Execution of Americans Without TrialThe New American – by Alex Newman

House Democrat leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi of California is under fire from across the political spectrum after admitting in an interview, among a host of other controversial positions, that she was not opposed to President Obama’s secret executions of U.S. citizens without a trial or even charges. She also claimed that, depending on the timing and situation, it was acceptable for the executive branch to simply “disappear” Americans and keep it secret — a wildly unconstitutional notion that even most Third World dictators would never dare support publicly.    Continue reading “Pelosi Backs Obama on Secret Execution of Americans Without Trial”

In the US, due process – one of the defining features of a democratic judicial process – continues to be badly bludgeoned: Obama fights tooth and nail to push through NDAA, which would allow indefinite detention of US citizens, and the definition of terrorism has expanded its unwieldy scope, casting a widening net that ensures more and more people are captured in its snare.  Continue reading “Arrested for Your Politics in America? I am writing this to you today not to oversell a situation nor undersell it, but to give you the facts as they have been presented.

It is not a new concept that the U.S. Military has think tanks and generals brainstorming possible scenarios for War in the U.S. from Invasions to small sleeper cells, As well as rioting or other situations, It would be foolish not to have those types of plans fleshed out and thought of and have tentative plans on the books.
