What Is on the Island?

Lurking in the dark waters of Long Island Sound is a mysterious place known as Plum Island. Just ten miles off the coast of Connecticut, this tiny speck of land has long been rumored to be the epicenter of top-secret biowarfare research. The U.S. government acknowledges that the island is home to a scientific facility. Its stated purpose is to study animal-borne diseases. But investigators are beginning to uncover startling new facts about this forbidding place. Insiders and ex-employees have come forward to tell their stories. From security breaches in germ labs, to escaped diseases and potential mass epidemics, this is the real Plum Island story.   Continue reading “Germs Gone Wild: The Horrific Secrets of Plum Island”

It’s only been 5 years since consumers slowly started hearing about a secret ingredient that has resided in some meat products for 20 years, now dubbed “pink slime.” To hear the American Meat President talk of ammonium hydroxide gas treated “Lean Finely Textured Beef” you’d think this stuff was manna from heaven, sent to feed the world.  Continue reading “Pink Slime Back in Schools? It Never Actually Left…”

SALT LAKE CITY — First off, I am not talking about those silly wild haired dolls with jewels in their belly buttons. I am also not speaking about the ones that live under bridges and eat small children. I am speaking about the spineless bottom feeders who sit at their computer all day bullying other people with inflammatory comments and remarks.

A troll’s sole purpose in life is to comment about an article, statement, question in a forum or other Internet venue so that comment will upset the target person or persons to the point where they are yelling at their computer and punching the monitor. The upset person will even go so far as to Google search the user name “wizardslayer7” to see if somehow there is an address associated with it.   Continue reading “Ask a cop: Trolling should be illegal”

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Pfc. John Eddington was preparing for deployment to Europe in World War II when he learned his wife gave birth to a daughter. He penned a letter, sweetly telling the little girl how much he loved her and longed to see her.

But he never got to meet her, and the letter and his Purple Heart medal ended up in a box thousands of miles away from Peggy Smith, the daughter who was told nearly nothing about him. Years after a Missouri woman found the box of mementos and underwent an exhaustive search to find the daughter who grew up hesitant to ask about her father because it upset her mother, the letter and medal will be handed over to Smith on Saturday in what figures to be an emotional ceremony in Dayton, Nev., where Smith lives.   Continue reading “7 decades later, Purple Heart given to daughter”

GROSSPRIEL, Austria (AP) — In Austria, hunting game such as deer and wild boar is a hallowed way of life, one that follows age-old codes of honor and requires a license bestowed only after passing rigorous exams. In that exalted world, Alois Huber was a brazen outlaw even before he went on a murderous rampage that left four people dead.

Not only did he poach game illegally in the middle of the night, he violated one of hunting’s most sacred rules: Kill for meat, not just the trophy of the wild animal’s head. Huber shot countless deer in the forests outside Vienna, sawed off their antlered heads to mount at home — and left their decapitated bodies to rot in the underbrush.   Continue reading “Austrian hunter’s obsession turns to murder”

The New York Times published on September 3, 2013 and article written by Robert Levy, chairman of the Cato Institute, on the “Limitations of Nullification”. I have had the honor of having personal discussions with Mr. Levy on several issues and even had the opportunity to debate him on the issue of nullification in a forum in South Florida. It will be no surprise to Mr. Levy that I disagree with his opinion. Opinions aside, I would like to have the opportunity to present the facts.   Continue reading “Cato Institute Declares States Are Not Sovereign”

Rep. Grayson Hails "Stealth Socialism" in AmericaThe New American – by Jack Kenny

Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.) has been hailed as a “progressive hero” by Democracy for America, the political action committee founded by former Vermont Governor Howard Dean. Yet he has something in common with some of the Tea Party heroes on the Republican Right. Grayson (shown) and his conservative colleagues agree socialism is on the rise in America. The difference is Grayson welcomes it.   Continue reading “Rep. Grayson Hails “Stealth Socialism” in America”

Coming soon to a supermarket near you, jars of tofu and packaged bean sprouts plastered with pictures of Michelle and Barack Obama.

With zero credentials as a schooled Nutritionist, Michelle Obama wants to drive cartoon characters promoting children’s’ food straight out of the public marketplace. In Michelle Obama’s resurrected Let’s Move Campaign, a private session, organized by both the first lady’s office—and the president’s policy advisers—now positions Michelle Obama as the facilitator of debate urging food industry executives to increase their advertising of healthful products for kids. Navy Issues Security Clearances To Delusional Paranoiacs With Multiple Gun Arrests

The DC shooter had two gun arrests, including one where he fired a bullet into his neighbor’s apartment and didn’t even bother to check on her. He suffered from delusional paranoia, heard voices, and had a security clearance and a concealed carry license. And the Navy let him slip through security yesterday carrying a rifle.   Continue reading “A Gun in Your Hand is Still the Best Protection”

LANSING — Bills that would deny unemployment benefits to people who refuse to take drug tests required by employers and that would mandate community service for people receiving public assistance were approved in the state Senate and a House committee Wednesday.

Obama’s popularity has finally begun to tumble. Even some of his Marxist minions who had previously followed his orders and believed his lies without question are now, if even ever so slightly, beginning to query his judgment and motives. Since 2009, I have been writing and saying on-air that it was and is Barack Hussein Obama’s intent to replace any and all Shiite Muslim leadership with that of the Sunni Muslim Brotherhood (Note: Obama’s “family” members are leaders in the Kenyan branch of the Muslim Brotherhood). That is precisely what he is doing, now, and has been affecting since the beginning of his reign as Dictator-in-Chief of the “New American [Obama] Colonies.”   Continue reading “End Game of Obama Dictatorship: Tyranny Rising–Part III”

Letter to the People

Letter from a United States Army Officer to the People of the United States,

The United States Army is here to support and defend the People of the United States. The Army is not supposed to be a tool used by the Executive Branch to wage proxy wars against Nations with different views or to impose the will of institutionalized businesses on the rest of the world as it has over the last 12 years.   Continue reading “Letter from a United States Army Officer to the People of the United States”

WEB Notes: ObamaCare is so great, Obama and Congress are opting out. If they, as our public servants have that choice, should you not have that same choice? Henry Blodget quoted in this article must be a dullard to say the least. What government program has ever ran with success? Our Social Security? No. Our Medicare? No. How about the Postal Service? NO! The government fails because there is too much corruption. They have no skin in the game, it is not their money they have to spend, it is yours, so there is no incentive to save it.   Continue reading “Grading Obamacare: Why the Government Should (and Shouldn’t) Control Health Care Coverage”
