The  FY14 Continuing Resolution (CR) spending bill  is soon to be on the table in the Senate, and hidden in this bill is a continuance of the controversial “Monsanto Protection Act” that was passed 6 months ago (HR 933) amidst enormous public outcry.

It probably won’t come as much of a surprise that the mainstream media is providing disinformation regarding this bill – after all – look at their advertisers. It’s just good business for them to go with the flow on this. According to mainstream sources, this is being presented as a done deal, when in fact, it has only passed the House and must still go before both the Senate and the President.   Continue reading “Untouchable: Government Gives Monsanto the Go-Ahead to Kill You and Your Family”

Republicans, Democrats – authoritarian collectivists generally – reflexively dismiss Libertarianism as “impractical” and “naive” in order to avoid discussing the validity of core Libertarian ideals – self ownership, non-aggression. They wave their hands and say, “it won’t work.”

But is this true?   Continue reading “Practical Libertarianism: Peace Keepers vs. Police”

Hagmann and Hagmann – by Mitch Santell

Last night I was walking the dog and it was a lovely evening. The crickets sounded like they do on most California evenings. The longer I walked the longer my mind drifted to the past. First, I started thinking about the kind of world my grandchildren would live in after I pass on. Second, I thought about my parents and how they were crazy in love with each other for 48 years until my Father passed away in 2004. Third, I started thinking about something called “The Saturday Night Massacre.” Do you remember it? Have you ever heard of it? If you know your history and you are like me, you wish it would happen again. Take a look at this video and then continue to read “The Strange Case of Barrack Hussein Obama Part 2….”.   Continue reading “The Strange Case of Barrack Hussein Obama Part 2”

This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence — economic, political, even spiritual — is felt in every city, every State house, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society.   Continue reading “Documents Prove That Homeland Security Is Being Armed By US Military”

(RT) – While the Obama administration pays lip service to the Russian solution, there is no reason to believe that Washington will take its finger off the trigger.

1. “I possess the authority to order military strikes.”

No you don’t, Mr. President. Only Congress has the authority to declare war, and ordering military strikes would be a clear act of war, thus violating the Constitution. It would also violate the War Powers Act, which says that the President can’t engage in hostilities without a declaration of war or specific Congressional authorization unless there is “a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces.” And Syria has done no such thing.   Continue reading “The 5 Most Ludicrous War Claims in Obama’s Syria Speech”
