Some residents of eastern Colorado Springs saw an impromptu air show Monday morning as a pair of fighter jets escorted an airliner into Peterson Air Force Base during a training exercise.

The sight had some worrying that the transport had been hijacked or suffered some other emergency.

Poland’s defence minister has said that 12 US F-16 aircraft should begin arriving in Poland on Monday and Tuesday, for “training exercises” following the Russian incursion into Crimea.

The so-called ‘Wi-Fi refugees’ are flocking to the tiny settlement to escape painful symptoms including burning skin, chest pains and acute headaches.

Carlsbad Current-Argus, Mar. 10, 2014: Four more employees at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant have tested positive for elevated levels of radiation over the weekend. The Department of Energy announced that fecal samples taken from employees at the nuclear waste facility found 17 workers tested positive for low levels of radiation. After initial testing more than a week ago, the DOE reported 13 workers tested positive for trace amounts americium and plutonium. Sales of recreational marijuana products in Colorado added more than $2.1 million to state coffers in tax receipts and other fees in the first month retail sales of the drug were allowed, state figures showed on Monday.

On Saturday, I informed you of a Connecticut police officer who said he wanted to bust through one patriot’s door and take his guns. This morning I spoke with John Cinque via telephone and he provided me with screenshots of the conversation that he mentioned in the video. Many people wanted to see the evidence of what John referenced in the video. Some thought it was nothing more than ploy since he was in the video with Connecticut gubernatorial candidate Joe Visconti. I won’t attempt to judge Visconti’s motives. Experts at the organization monitoring the nuclear test ban treaty have been asked to see if they detected an explosion at high altitude of the missing Malaysian Airlines plane.

Lassina Zerbo, executive director of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organisation (CTBTO) told a news conference the organisation used “infrasound” – or infrasonic sensors – to monitor the earth mainly for atmospheric nuclear explosions. SAN DIEGO, CA — Dancers at a gentlemen’s club felt harassed and uncomfortable when the establishment was raided by nearly a dozen police officers who demanded to take pictures of the women and examine their bodies and permits.
