Christianity Today – by Samantha Blake

With the upcoming lunar tetrad falling on Jewish holidays, some Christians have been discussing whether the event is linked to the Bible’s End Time prophecy. Though some Christians strongly believe that this year’s ‘blood moon’ eclipses are linked to a passage in Joel 2:31 that says, “The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come,” other Christians believe that now is not the time for Christ’s return.   Continue reading “Blood Moon April 15, 2014: Upcoming Lunar eclipse has Christians divided on End Times Bible Prophecy”

It’s been a long, cold and wet winter in parts of the United States. But in many parts of the world, from California to Southeast Asia, the land is parched from growing and persistent droughts. And that spells higher prices for many foods Americans put on the table during every meal.   Continue reading “Droughts Worldwide May Have an Effect on American Dinner Plates”

In a windowless basement room decorated with photographs of farmers clutching freshly harvested vegetables, three polo-shirt-and-slacks-clad Monsanto executives, all men, wait for a special lunch. A server arrives and sets in front of each a caprese-like salad—tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, lettuce—and one of the execs, David Stark, rolls his desk chair forward, raises a fork dramatically, and skewers a leaf. He takes a big, showy bite. The other two men, Robb Fraley and Kenny Avery, also tuck in. The room fills with loud, intent, wet chewing sounds.   Continue reading “Monsanto Is Going Organic in a Quest for the Perfect Veggie”

An area just outside of the little town of Bunkerville, Nevada, with a population of around a thousand people, may go down in history.  This little spot in the desert may be compared with Lexington, Massachusetts, the site of the “shot heard round the world” – the first shot fired in the American Revolution.  Because it looks like the second American Revolution may start there…and soon.

Yesterday, The Daily Sheeple reported that tensions were running high outside of Bunkerville. It seems that the US government, in all of their infinite wisdom, has declared war on a cattle rancher named Cliven Bundy.   Continue reading “Militias Are On Route: Is the 2nd American Revolution Starting in Bunkerville, Nevada?”

2014 is shaping up as a year of reckoning for the United States.

Two pressures are building on the US dollar. One pressure comes from the Federal Reserve’s declining ability to rig the price of gold as Western gold supplies shrivel and market knowledge of the Fed’s illegal price rigging spreads. The evidence of massive amounts of naked shorts being dumped into the paper gold futures market at times of day when trading is thin is unequivocal. It has become obvious that the price of gold is being rigged in the futures market in order to protect the dollar’s value from QE.   Continue reading “Is the US or the World Coming to an End?”

LOUISVILLE, Ky. –  It may sound far-fetched, but scientists are attempting to build a human heart with a 3D printer.

Ultimately, the goal is to create a new heart for a patient with their own cells that could be transplanted. It is an ambitious project to first, make a heart and then get it to work in a patient, and it could be years — perhaps decades — before a 3D printed heart would ever be put in a person.   Continue reading “Scientists trying to create human heart with 3D printer”

Storage Tanks Sit at an Oil Refinery in HoustonBloomberg Businessweek – by Naomi Christie and Dan Murtaugh

Houston and the rest of the U.S. Gulf Coast have more crude oil than the region can handle.

Stockpiles in the region centered on Houston and stretching to New Mexico in the west and Alabama in the east rose to 202 million barrels in the week ended April 4, the most on record, Energy Information Administration data released yesterday show.   Continue reading “Houston Fills With Crude Oil That Can’t Be Shipped Out”

People want to believe medical science gives us, at any given moment, the best of all possible worlds.

And of course, the best of all possible worlds must have its enemies: the quacks who sell unproven snake oil.

So let’s look at some facts.   Continue reading “Shocker: comparing deaths from medical drugs, vitamins, all US wars”

RENO, Nev. (AP) — Buyers snapped up 29 federal land leases totaling more than 56 square miles in a northeastern Nevada area.

BEIJING, April 10 (Reuters) – A deal between China’s top refiner Sinopec Corp and Phillips 66 could be a game changer that signals the United States is on track to become one of the top suppliers of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to the world’s second-biggest economy.

China is the biggest consumer of LPG, a compressed mix of propane and butane, used for heating and transport, and now increasingly being considered for making petrochemicals.   Continue reading “Riding shale boom, U.S to become major LPG supplier to China”

Wake Up America – by Susan Duclos

It is time.

A revolution without a shot fired is possible, and for those that have been wringing their hands over what they have been watching happen to the US and wondering what a single person can do about it, there is plenty.

Quick recap: Cliven Bundy is a racher who in the early 1990s was told that the area he allowed his cattle to graze was all of a sudden off limits, as dictated by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), in order to save some tortoises. He refused to comply since his family had been using that area for longer than the BLM even existed.    Continue reading “Revolution Now In Nevada – What You Can Do To Fight Back”

At this time in history you need to ask yourself a critical question, “Am I a government slave?”  Maybe you consider yourself a “slave of the government.”  Is there really a difference?  Why yes, there is!

When you say you are a “slave of the government” by default you belong to the government legally (like paying taxes, getting EBT cards, or voluntary community service) but spiritually you are free and independent, with your own mind and reality. By virtue of living in these days at times you must interact with the federal government.   Continue reading “Are You A Government Slave?”

Alt-Market – by Brandon Smith

Despite popular belief, every culture of every nation draws a line in the sand against government tyranny. The problem is, many draw this line so close to total defeat that it rarely matters. For the Jews of the Warsaw Ghetto, for instance, it wasn’t until the Germans had already herded millions onto railroad cars destined for death camps and cornered the rest into dilapidated central housing that the ZOB resistance was formed, only to be wiped out a month later. Perhaps hindsight is 20/20, but clearly too many freedom movements throughout history waited too long to respond to the trespasses of oligarchs.   Continue reading “Real Americans Are Ready To Snap”

BUNKERVILLE — From near and wide, armed men are trickling toward Cliven Bundy’s ranch, where the rancher’s fight with the federal government has become a rallying cry for militia groups across the United States.

On Wednesday, that dispute teetered at the edge of deadly conflict, when Cliven Bundy’s family members and supporters scuffled with rangers from the Bureau of Land Management sent to protect the federal roundup of Bundy’s cattle on public land.   Continue reading “Militias ‘mobilizing’ to support embattled Clark County rancher in clash with federal rangers”

A convoy of US Department of Interior’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM) vehicles with armed federal agents faced-off with the public at their protest camp near Exit 112, off of Riverside Road in Bunkerville, Nevada.

The scene which took place this afternoon at 2pm PST, went violent after a detachment of federal agents pulled over and began threatening protesters and residents, before assaulting at least one woman and panicking and tasering protesters (see video below).    Continue reading “Federal Agents Tasering Protesters, Reports of Killing Cattle in Bunkerville, NV”
