Israel has just committed another high-profile murder in the West Bank killing 55-year-old Ziad Abu Ein, a minister without portfolio in the Palestinian government. According to the BBC, he ‘was among dozens of foreign and Palestinian activists taking part in a protest against land confiscations.’

A protest put on by a group of second-graders in Massachusetts has sparked controversy, but the school says it was just teaching the kids a lesson in civics.

The peaceful demonstration happened on Friday, a spokesperson for the Alma del Mar Charter School in New Bedford told ABC News today. HONOLULU (AP) — Lava from a volcano on Hawaii’s Big Island is on course to reach a shopping center with a gas station and a supermarket in seven to 10 days, officials said.

A man in San Francisco pulled off an expertly camouflaged heist when he robbed a bank wearing a Santa costume during the annual SantaCon celebration on the weekend, when thousands of people were similarly dressed up and in the streets.
