However, instead of mental health help, Lane got several Red Bluff police officers who chased him down and killed him. Albuquerque, NM — All too often we hear the police state apologist crowd tell those who advocate for police accountability that if people “don’t do anything wrong, they have nothing to worry about.” However, all too often, this is proven wrong as entirely innocent people are beaten, shot, or killed by cops and they did nothing wrong. It is undoubtedly true that the vast majority of politicians are liars. Some, however, are more prolific liars than others. And any honest, objective, even semi-intelligent person knows that Donald Trump takes the blue ribbon in the lying game. He lies so much, he can’t even play a game of golf without cheating.

A video that shows a man getting arrested Wednesday for selling ice cream outside West Mesquite High School has gone viral on social media.
“The officer pulled my arm and he immediately arrested me without asking any questions. When I was inside the car, I told him that my arm was hurting, but he told me to remain silent,” said Victor Salgado, during an interview with our sister station, Telemundo 39. The Trump administration has forked over more than $62 million — taxpayer cash that was supposed to be earmarked for struggling American farmers — to a massive meatpacking company owned by a couple of corrupt Brazilian brothers.
The Department of Agriculture cut a contract in January to purchase $22.3 million worth of pork from plants operated by JBS USA, a Colorado-based subsidiary of Brazil’s JBS SA, which ranks as the largest meatpacker in the world.

The Koch brothers’ — the billionaire plutocrats and GOP mega-donors — network of organizations are railing against President Trump’s tariffs on China to protect American workers and U.S. industry.
This month, Trump hiked tariffs to 25 percent on about $200 billion worth of Chinese manufactured goods. Trump has also ordered trade officials to begin reviewing the process of increasing tariffs to 25 percent on an additional $300 billion worth of Chinese goods. Saudi Arabia on Thursday blamed Iran for ordering an attack early this week on two Aramco pipeline booster stations, a strike that was intended as part of a broader sabotage campaign to disrupt world oil supplies, according to Saudi Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih.
The drone attacks came one day after a string of attacks on two Saudi oil tankers and two other vessels in the Strait of Hormuz, and caused the temporary closure of a vital east-west pipeline traversing the kingdom, since reopened. WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump will outline on Thursday a plan to harden border security and overhaul the legal immigration system to favor applicants who speak English, are well-educated and have job offers, senior administration officials said.

A group of suspected Chinese hackers may have stole access to an NSA cyberweapon and repurposed it to attack targets back in 2016, according to new research.
The attacks involved an NSA hacking tool called “Double Pulsar,” which can secretly download additional malware to a Windows PC. On Monday, Symantec said it found evidence that the NSA cyberweapon was bundled with a suspected Chinese-made hacking tool to attack a target in Hong Kong and then another in Belgium in March 2016. Microsoft has issued a patch for some of its older systems to fix a vulnerability that could allow malware to spread in a similar way to the 2017 WannaCry attack.

America’s baby bust isn’t over. The nation’s birth rates last year reached record lows for women in their teens and 20s, a government report shows, leading to the fewest babies in 32 years.
The provisional report, released Wednesday and based on more than 99% of U.S. birth records, found 3.788 million births last year. It was the fourth year the number of births has fallen, the lowest since 1986 and a surprise to some experts given the improving economy.
