I was searching for ways to lower my electric bill here in my small 850 ft. apartment and I think I’ve found some solutions. Not to mention these are great ways to create lighting for a camping or a bug out situation. Here are 5 easy examples. Take your pick and make it a fun family project.

Neat ideas, Thanks 🙂
Pretty good post there Cathleen.I also found a article some time ago about useing those solar landscape lights to recharge a cellphone which would be handy if out on a camping trip or if ya got to get away. They also used those solar units for a little 9 volt radio that is real nice when out in the middle of nowhere.
That’s interesting Digger, will have to look those alt. uses up! TY! 🙂
You’re welcome everyone. Enjoy!

I just scored brownie points with my wife on this one! A new home school project for the kids! Thanks Cathleen!
