Given the Marxist misery the Obama regime is spreading like farmer’s manure on their way to Utopia, legions have long suspected that the Democrats own a monopoly on evil. But recent antics of their star performers Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid et al may indicate that they’re plain crazy too.
Barack Hussein Obama, who has recently taken up repeating “The Bear is Loose’ during his random, royal walkabouts in lunchtime D.C., must have been thinking of Nancy Pelosi, who came on like a screeching banshee, not once but twice chasing down Republican Representative Tom Marino of Pennsylvania through the House Chamber.
You can put that loose bear in a screech-proof muzzle and chains, Mr. Obama.
Despite the display of crazed behaviour, there’ll be no Act of Contrition offered by Pelosi, an abortion-boosting ‘Catholic’.
While in the House Chamber Republicans expect to be cut down like proverbial field daisies by Dem racial smears that have become de rigueur, but being chased down by a screeching banshee is somewhere over the top.
“Late last night the news broke that Former Speaker, Rep. Nancy Pelosi—Democrat, chased down a Republican Representative through the House Chamber. Not once, but twice. It went so far that Republicans attempted to physically block an irrational Pelosi from the target of her rage, Rep. Tom Marino of Pennsylvania. (Aaron Gardner, RedState, Aug. 2, 2014)
Pelosi, who’s had nothing but her finger left to wag after the Tea Party’s 2010 election landslide left her with no gavel to pound, was seething, all because Marino spoke about how the Democrats purposely ignored the issues at the border when they had control of the House, the Senate, and the White House.
All true, but the truth enrages some Dems when there’s no way to shut off the sound system.
“Rep. Pelosi’s irrational rage and off the wall behavior aren’t caused by Marino’s remarks, but rather Pelosi’s inability to accept the reality that she squandered her time as Speaker for a broken Health Care system, and enacted immigration legislation, the DREAM Act, which no doubt was one of many catalysts to the current humanitarian, and near constitutional, crisis at the border. (RedState)
“Off-mic, Pelosi then approached Marino, crossing the aisle in view of cameras, and apparently challenged Marino’s assertion that Democrats did not do anything about the issue when they had majority control.
“Yes it is true,” Marino replied directly to Pelosi, who was House speaker in those years. “I did the research on it. You might want to try it. You might want to try it, Madam Leader. Do the research on it. Do the research. I did it. That’s one thing that you don’t do.”
“Now, this isn’t the worst break in decorum, but Pelosi isn’t exactly at the height of mental stability as far as I can tell, and she wasn’t done yet.
“After Marino concluded his remarks and as many Republicans applauded their colleague, Pelosi crossed the chamber again in view of cameras, enraged, pointing and sticking her finger at Marino.”
Somewhere in the high pitch of her banshee screeches, Pelosi could be heard asserting to a largely uncaring world: “I was Speaker!”
“She then followed Marino up a Republican aisle, gesturing and arguing with him. Lawmakers on the GOP side gathered in dismay as one spoke out to tell the chair that the House was not in order, in an effort to halt the bickering.” (RedState)
In the upside-down world created by the Obama regime, are the Dems going crazy?
Actor James Woods may not be in the minority in pondering whether Pelosi has a mental issue:
Woods: “Pelosi may actually be mentally ill. Her behaviour is becoming unhinged. This is no laughing matter.
Nor is it a laughing matter that Pelosi’s frail sanity seems to have already spread to a dementia-suspected Senator Harry Reid.
“74-year-old Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid suffers from dementia. He’s spent half a century in politics. You may feel for him, but it’s time for him to retire. (Katie Kieffer, Townhall, May 19, 2014)
“Reid has a growing tendency to forget basic facts. If this is due to dementia, he should leave public office because it is not fair to those of us who are paying him to work efficiently. However if he does not have dementia, then he is simply dishonest.
“I have to be very honest,” “To be honest,” and “If you want my honest opinion, and I know you do,” are some of Reid’s favorite ways to begin sentences. Yes, we do want him to be honest, but lately he’s been either severely forgetful—or deceitful.
Reid has an absolute obsession with the Koch brothers whose names are peppered in his most notorious stinging insults. Radio giant Rush Limbaugh calls Reid’s obsession with the Koch brothers: “Kochbrotheritis”.
A little-known fact about Reid is that when he was called to cast his vote for Obamacare on Christmas Eve of 2009, he actually said “no” before he quickly changed his vote to “yes.” He later quipped to the New York Times: “…I was just in dreamland.”
Nearly five years later, Reid is still in “dreamland.” He recently said on the Senate floor:”…there’s plenty of horror stories [about Obamacare] being told; all of ‘em are all untrue. But they’re being told all over America.” Except for the fact that the stories were true, as I wrote here.
“Reid should seriously consider recovering from his dishonesty, I mean his “dementia,” by retiring to Fabulous Las Vegas. He can sit poolside, sip margaritas and tweet if he’d like—but he needs to pass the gavel on to the next generation.”
Any media that would dare mention the Obama girls would be certified as crazy. Perhaps Britain’s Daily Mail weren’t clued in.
Malia Obama, 16, was spotted hanging out with friends (“and her burly Secret Service detail”) over a 3-day period at Chicago music festival Lollapalooza on the weekend.
How many parents would say that sending your 16-year-old children 595 miles away from home with or without a burly Secret Service detail for three days is just plain crazy?
