The protestors, who had written messages on their backs like ‘partners in crime’ and ‘f*** dictator’ entered the Hanover Fair and stormed the booth of Volkswagen to demonstrate against the Russian president and his German counterpart.
Putin was left pursing his lips at the demonstration while Merkel made a quick exit as the demonstrators were led away.
Merkel pressed home her concerns over Russian controls and ordered Putin to allow the two countries to work together freely.
The Russian President also voiced his opinions on the recent blustering from North Korea.
He called for calm on the Korean peninsula and praised the United States for postponing a missle test.
The Pentagon has postponed a scheduled missile test to avoid raising the tensions further. Putin said at a news conference that the decision was a “very important and correct step.”
He said: “We hope that this step will be noticed by our partners in North Korea and that the correct conclusions will be made, that all will calm down and begin the joint work so that the situation will become less tense.”
I think Putin may have been “weaned off the teat” to soon as his facial expression suggests! lol
Wow, I think that’s the first time I’ve ever seen Putin laugh or have a smile on his face. Russians never smile. And why are they blurring out the wording on her back? As long as they don’t show her breasts, who cares what it says.
That smile/laugh reminds me of Uncle Fester from the Adams Family.
I saw an article similar to this one at BIN. A slight difference, though.
It had what Monty Python used to refer to as “full frontal nudity”. 🙂
(that’s why I didn’t send it in) LOL
Damn #1, I sure miss Monty Python’s Flying Circus.
I have every episode ever made on dvd in a boxed set, Millard.
Some of my favorites include: the Ministry of Silly Walks, the Blancmange, the Art of NOT Being Seen (LOVE that one), and of course the Dead Parrot skit.
My brother was lucky enough to see them live at the Hollywood Bowl, and when John Cleese walked onto the stage with the parrot cage, the audience started laughing so hard that he started cracking up, and had to go back offstage to compose himself before he could actually come back out to do the skit.
Wish I’d been there for that one. 🙂
“The Ministry of Silly Walks”. Thanks for the memory of that one #1. I damn near fell out of my chair conjuring up memories of that bit!
And who could possibly forget the Twit of the Year Contest? RLMAO!
