Since I frequently hear the phrase “Think Tanks” I decided to take the time to tell you about my experience.
About 10 years ago I began waking to the lies surrounding me thanks to, I hate to say it, Newt Gingrich and his book ‘Drill Here, Drill Now”. I received a flyer on my car and the things I read on the flyer began my awakening.
Being raised in the communist environment of Wisconsin, where I lived at the time, I began making small donations to what I thought were worthy causes. Then I received a letter inviting me to join a “Think Tank”. I felt quite honored to receive the invitation but it required a payment of $250 to join. Needless to say that was beyond my budget but it showed me that the “Think Tanks” are not intelligent people but only those with enough money to voice THEIR opinion.
I am curious if any Trenchers have ever received a similar offer to join a “Think Tank”.

Nope to offers to join a “think tank” and yes to KOYOTE’s statement. My awakening occurred over many years a bit at a time, the finale (kinda) being the realization that Israel is dangerous not only to Palestinians, but all mankind (including most Jews, the non-Talmudic ones). The year 2006–finding out that it was Israel that attacked the USS Liberty by eyewitnesses plus Israel’s inability to defeat Hezbollah plus their plan to genocide Palestinians plus why they got the settlers out of Gaza, plus plus plus. Unfortunately, most of my fellow Christians simply will not seek out the truth about Israel, the Talmud, Chabad Lubavitch, Netanyahu’s role in the murder of Yitzak Rabin in 1995, persecution of fellow Christians (Palestinian ones), etc.
