Jonathan Allan Soros – the son of liberal billionaire philanthropist George Soros – has donated $1 million to Planned Parenthood Votes – a political advocacy arm of the nation’s largest abortion business, which has endorsed Hillary Clinton for president.

Soros – the CEO of JS Capital Management LLC – made his contribution on February 22, according to FEC filings. In February, 11 individuals donated a total of $2,723,297.17, with Soros providing the largest of the donations.
LGBT activist Jon L. Stryker, heir of the Stryker medical technology company and founder and president of the Arcus Foundation, also donated $100,000 in February to Planned Parenthood Votes. The executive director of the Arcus Foundation is Kevin Jennings, a former Assistant Deputy Secretary of Education in the Obama administration and the founder of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which provides pro-LGBT agenda curricula to public schools in the United States under the umbrella of anti-bullying education.
In January alone, Planned Parenthood Votes took in a total of $538,585.18 from only five donors. One donor – George Soros’ daughter, Andrea Soros Columbel, president of the Trace Foundation – an organization that supports the development of Tibetan culture –contributed $250,000 to the abortion business’ political affiliate. Soros Columbel is a member of the Open Society Global Board along with father George and Jonathan, and Alexander Soros.
As the Washington Free Beacon observes, Planned Parenthood Votes now shows $4,508,822 in total receipts during the 2016 campaign.
Planned Parenthood has endorsed Hillary Clinton in the Democratic presidential primary and announced last November it would spend some $20 million to elect Clinton, banking on her appeal to feminists, militant LGBT champions, and abortion supporters.

“Extremists made the 2016 election about attacking reproductive rights,” said Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards as she announced the launch of her organization’s campaign. “Enough is enough. With our supporters, we’re launching ‘I Vote Planned Parenthood Action.’ We’ll organize and mobilize to elect lawmakers who are in our corner. And politicians who side with these extremists, you are NOT my candidate.”
The abortion business is still reeling from a series of undercover videos exposing its apparent practices of selling the body parts of babies it aborts on the open market and altering the position of babies during abortions in order to harvest their intact organs. The organization is under congressional investigation and more states are passing bans on late-term abortions and abortion clinic safety regulations, particularly in the wake of the Kermit Gosnell “house of horrors” murder trial.
The special House panel investigating Planned Parenthood’s practices has six strongly pro-abortion Democrat members – all of whom have received donations from Planned Parenthood to their campaigns.
Data from the Center for Responsive Politics lists Planned Parenthood donations to political campaigns from 1998 through the 2016 election cycles. The following amounts are totals contributed by Planned Parenthood to the campaigns for the Democrats on the special panel:
Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-IL): $11,865Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY): $5,535Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO): $36,735Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA): $4,000Rep. Suzan DelBene (D-WA): $19,232Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-NJ): $2,500
However, as Newsbusters reported:
But going back to 1990, Planned Parenthood has given the representatives more than $81,000.
Back when the Center for Responsive Politics listed donations going back to 1990, MRC Culture counted $13,115 for Rep. Jan Schakowsky in contributions from Planned Parenthood. Adding that number to the total of the others since 1998 ($68,002) brings the total to more than $81,000.
Additionally, RedState reports the following:
The abortion lobby, EMILY’s List, has given the ranking member of this panel (which is supposed to be investigating the abortion industry’s legally dubious practice of selling aborted babies’ body parts to pad “their bottom line”), Rep. Schakowsky, over $64,000 dollars in direct campaign contributions. It has handed Rep. Suzan DelBene (D-WA) over $48,000.
Likewise NARAL Pro-Choice America has flooded Rep. Diana DeGette (D-CO)’s campaign coffers with over $31,000 and Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY)’s with over $19,000.
All totaled, the abortion industry has paid more than $305,000 for the six Democrats appointed to the House’s select panel tasked with investigating Planned Parenthood.
DeGette also admitted in 2011 that she was a member of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Planned Parenthood for several years in the 1990s.
