I’m officially submitting this to the “Insanity Locker” for J.D. We discussed a theme song for all things insane, and I didn’t want to insult Rod Sterling from the original “Twilight Zone”, and this video kept buzzing in my mind.

It’s 2 am
The fear is gone
I’m sitting here waiting
The gun’s still warm
Maybe my connection
Is tired of taking chances
Yeah, there’s a storm on the loose
Sirens in my head
Wrapped up in silence
All circuits are dead
Cannot decode
My whole life spins into a frenzy
Help, I’m steppin’ into the Twilight Zone
Place is a madhouse
Feels like being cloned
My beacons been moved
Under moon and star
Where am I to go Now that I’ve gone too far
Soon you will come to know
When the bullet hits the bone
Soon you will come to know
When the bullet hits the bone
I’m fallin’ down a spiral
Destination unknown
Double-crossed messenger
All alone
Can’t get no connection
Can’t get through; where are you?
Well the night weighs heavy
On his guilty mind
This far from the border line
When the hit man comes
He knows damn well he has been cheated
Help I’m steppin’ into the Twilight Zone
Place is a madhouse
Feels like being cloned
My beacons been moved
Under moon and star
Where am I to go Now that I’ve gone too far
Damn I posted this same video on 3 – 13.
Anyway, I still like it 🙂
Hey digger,
I don’t know how I missed you posting it. I had this song in my head since Thursday night when talking about how insane the world is. 🙂
Don`t worry about it Deb. Good video and good post 🙂
I do repeated posts at times myself too Deb.
Again Good post. Always liked Golden Earring and this song 😉
Me, too.

A masterfully choreographed video,
of a classic piece of rock-n-roll.
G.E., as well as few others of that era,
blazed trails that none to this day can
duplicate.
U.F.O., Tull, “Smith”, Rush, B.O.C.,
just to name a few of the other “Masters”
of that era. Which produced “Classics”
in their own right. Which will NEVER die.
Saw them live in the mid 70’s. Good song.
Great dance tune. Sure to get the heart rate up.
