Yep we’re in for the duration. Got lots of firewood stacked up inside so until the power goes out…and it will…then I gotta go break out the generator. Last time we got this much, 2011, the power was out for 2 weeks.
Getting sleet here.
April 2013 a wicked ice storm here. You could go outside and hear trees snapping. Power out for a week, and no gen. at the time. Unusually cold too.
Hope all stays good for ya!
You must live nearby. We received our 2 feet yesterday and I’m worn out from plowing with the tractor. Now we are minus 3 degrees with the same for tomorrow.
We are in North Idaho in the panhandle about 65 miles south of the Canadian border, in between the Saw Tooth Mountains and the Cabinet Mountains in Montana. I would send some pictures but don’t know how to get them onto this space.
Wow the Sawtooth mts are true rugged beauty. We went through Stanley Idaho on our way to ND in 2011. Talk about a remote location. Fly fishermens paradise.
Your area is not too shabby either, lots of streams and mountains, plus you have gold. We only have silver for the most part. Thank God you are far enough north to be away from the chaos of the rest of the state.
Thank God, no, but you DO. 🙂
I always enjoyed looking a picture postcards with snow, and that’s about it.
Stay warm and dug out.

Not much… the rain melted most of it already.
I’m good with that.
