Government Data Shows That American Wages Are Sinking Like A Rock

The Daily Sheeple – by Joshua Krause

The mainstream media rejoiced last week when a new jobs report revealed that the United States had added 255,000 jobs in July. Unfortunately, the jobs report wasn’t nearly as positive as everyone thought. It turns out that July’s job growth wasn’t really enough to keep up with population growth. In other words, there wasn’t any real growth at all.

And that isn’t the only sign that indicates the American economy is taking nosedive this year. Federal data released on Tuesday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, shows that the government agency has changed its assessment of America’s wage growth. Previously they claimed that our wages had grown 4.2% in the first quarter of 2016.

But it turns out that wages had actually fallen by .4% between January and March. In the second quarter of 2016, between April and June, wages fell again by 1.4%. At this rate, pretty much all of the wages that Americans have gained in recent years will be lost in no time at all.

Not that it matters though. None of these numbers take into account the rapidly increasing cost of living that Americans are faced with all over the country. When the cost of rent, food, and utilities are skyrocketing, a small increase in wages is no increase at all.

  1. Hell after paying the bills….we’re basically working for free.
Heck….a homeless cardboard box in SFO will cost you 1k a month.
Now if you’re an enterprising Amerikan.
You would sub lease a corner of the cardboard box to a foreigner at the discount rate of…
    $999.99 a month.
    Oyyyyyy….!

  2. Here’s another guy who wants to argue with the lies rather than reveal the truth.

“The mainstream media rejoiced last week when a new jobs report revealed that the United States had added 255,000 jobs in July.”

Who gives a rat’s rectum what the “mainstream media” says when we know they do nothing but lie? Are you incapable of prying your empty head from the TV screen?

This is the economic news: It doesn’t ,matter how many dollars you have when they don’t buy anything, and you should judge the state of the economy by comparing your present standard of living to your past standard of living.

People who smoke cigarettes don’t empty ashtrays anymore, because they need the butts to make more cigarettes, most of which were homemade to begin with. We USED TO buy cigarettes with out spare change. Gas consumption is down because no one drives unless they absolutely have to, and we USED TO cruise around in cars just for fun. A school teacher now has to find room mates to keep a roof over her head, when her salary USED TO buy her a nice house in the suburbs.

Any information fed to you by the government is absolute BS, and you should know that by now. Rather than arguing with their fiction, ignore them and look around you.
