Handicapped Woman Calls 911 During Brutal Beating by Cops

Megan Graham, a Federal Way, Washington woman, called 911 to attempt to save herself from the cops who were beating her. Straight from the Bully’s Playbook, the partially deaf and cognitively disabled woman has been charged with felony assault on an officer.

Graham said that she had stopped at a friend’s apartment building when a police officer pulled up behind her.  She says that she responded politely but never heard the officer order her from his running vehicle, to get back into her car.  That’s the point at which things got ugly, as the officer reportedly grabbed her roughly. She called 911 in hopes of getting other officers there to de-escalate the situation.

Two police officers brutally beat the woman as she pleaded with the 911 dispatcher for help.

Luckily for Graham, the attack on her was caught on the 911 recording.

I told the officer I had mental and hearing disabilities, and didn’t understand why he was trying to hurt me.”

“I was hoping other officers would show up to listen and deescalate the situation,” Graham said.

In the 911 recording, Graham shouts at the officer: “You attacked me before you said anything! There is no point whatsoever for you to touch me like that, especially with my condition, so how dare you even touch me?”

The officer is clearly heard repeating “You are under arrest.”

During the 911 call, another responding officer punched Graham several times in the face, and is heard loudly ordering her repeatedly to stop resisting.

“I am not resisting,” replied Graham. Graham says when an officer put his weight on her hip, which she says was previously injured, she reacted by trying to flip over. Federal Way police said she assaulted an officer during that struggle.  (source)

Deborah Fenwick was an eyewitness to the assault-by-cop. “That woman was not resisting, I saw it.  That woman doesn’t have a violent bone in her body. She’s got a heart of gold. If she would have understood the officer’s commands in the first place, she would have absolutely complied with him.”

The officer’s report places the blame firmly on Graham.  ”As the officer approached, Graham squared off against him in a fighter’s stance and attempted to strike him with closed fists. (The officer) responded with closed fist strikes to Graham’s face which brought her to the ground where she was handcuffed.”

Most would expect the police to protect a defenseless woman from being beaten black and blue by two men, but after this shocking display of police brutality, perhaps the Federal Way Police Department needs to change their slogan from “To Protect and Serve” to “To Punch and Subjugate.”

  1. A major national uprising against criminal police would be interesting. Hundreds of armed patriots in a shootout with criminal police….

  2. I find the actions of the police here to be contemptable almost beyond words. When I was a boy we were taught you simply do not hit girls. Period. In fact, I was raised to defend those that could not defend themselves. I can find no excuse imaginable why at least two heavily armed grown males (I will NOT call them men because a man would not act in such a manner) would harm a handicapped woman in this way. I regret I was not present at this scene because I would have done my utmost to prevent this act of cowardice. They may have ended up killing me..but as God is my witness I would have crippled one, perhaps both before they did. And I would have died knowing I kept those pathetic excuses for humans from causing futher harm to that poor woman. Guys…this type of behavior has GOT to be stopped. By whatever means…it must be stopped. I am really pissed. Maybe it gets me because I have a handicapped daughter…it could have been her. But this is wrong bordering on evil.

    1. I see concerned, armed citizens drawing weapons on leo criminals and possibly shooting them if the criminals try to out gun the citizens. The future promises to be interesting.

  3. It’s time to video this sort of behavior when you happen to see it. Make sure the video goes to cloud storage so the cops can’t steal it and make it disappear. And shoot the bastards. The video will be proof you were defending against excessive and unwarranted force. Down where I live cops have been getting shot during random traffic stops. They are just reaping what they have sown. For some reason they are surprised by this blowback.

    1. I don’t think most cops will ever see a trial. Historically, they’re the first targets of revolutions because they’re the arm of the government that deals directly with the people.

If there are any decent people working for police departments, I think it would be wise for them to find a new line of work real soon.

      1. I’m not sure I agree Jolly. If the honorable cops leave…all that’s left are the thugs. I’m thinking if the honest, patriotic ones stay, maybe they can either recruit more like themselves or even try to do some house cleaning. I fear that if the good ones all leave…we then stare into the abyss.

        1. Disagree, Scott.

If all the good ones leave (assuming there ARE any ‘good ones’ left, and that’s a stretch, at best), once the SHTF it will save us the trouble of attempting to differentiate – we’ll simply shoot anyone in a uniform with a badge, and call it justifiable.

Justice will once again be served.

          1. I know what you’re saying #1. I actually thought the same thing before I thought of my uncle and brother-in-law. I know other cops who are good men…not lots…but some. I also thought of Oathkeepers and 3%ers. I know it would make hunting easier.. perhaps they will just defect and that would accomplish the same thing. Besides another thought occured to me. Maybe having some honorable cops is a way to infiltrate and stay appraised of any anti-patriot plans that may be coming? Intel is always good no?

          2. As I stated in a previous comment on this same subject, NO one can be a cop these days and NOT know what’s going on. Even if they are not personally participating in the mayhem and murders perpetrated by the evil ones, they are complicit simply by their silence. Unless they are taking the names of the ones commiting those murders, and planning on executing them for their unanswered crimes as soon as the SHTF, then there is no valid reason for them to remain on the force.

I have a friend who I watched grow from a small child, who joined LAPD, but only part-time, as he already had a full-time job. A couple of years ago, I was talking to him, explaining the nature of the matrix. I told him that, being a Christian, the day is coming soon when he’ll have to make a choice, Either he’ll have to stand by his Christian beliefs, and NOT side with the cops, or he’ll most likely be killed as one of them. He then told me to keep it to myself (he wanted to be the one to break the news to his family), but that he had already decided to quit the force, because he couldn’t in good conscience ignore the corruption and criminal activities of the rest of the cops any longer. He has my utmost respect for that decision.

          3. I understand what you’re saying #1. And I respect your beliefs on the subject. And as a man and American I would stand with you and defend your right to have an opinion that may differ from mine. But if I follow your logic about good cops who remain silent and do nothing are complicit in the wrong doing of their peers…then I fear we are ALL complicit in the war crimes and evil that has been wrought in this world by this government while we stood by in silence. Or did what we could but to no avail. If we try but fail are we any less complicit? I don’t know man. Perhaps there are good cops who do what they can when they can. I won’t condemn good people who are afraid to act. Given a chance they will do the right thing…at least I hope so. All I am sure of is I fear for our country when I reflect on the fact that God is just.

  4. Cops are cops. They ALL enforce corporate statutes and policies propogated to be “laws” by and for their corporate employers called “governments” at all levels. Cops’ interpretation of “law” can be manipulated and misconstrued as easily as that of any lawyer (not necessarily an attorney) and any Judge/Justice (a policy administrator). Any honest or good ones can be identified by their actions. Best of luck finding any. Many areas use newspapers or other media to notify the public of arrests. They name the “law offenders” but seldom name the “law enforcement officers” performing those arrests. Those “law enforcement officers” should also be identified so any time this type of situation occurs, those individual(s) responsible can be identified publicly for ease of civil suit litigation for victim restitution. If you’re waiting for the just-us system to bite the hands that feed it by prosecuting their own revenue-generation agents you’ll be waiting a LOOOOONG time.

    1. All I can say Scotty is I have two cops in my family. An uncle and a brother-in-law. Both stand up guys who openly talk about such things as honor and oaths. And in case you want to think Barney Fifes I’ll respond don’t think Mayberry…think Chicago. And I assure you they are aware of the actions of bad cops. And they are aware there are good ones out there too. I know these things for a fact. If you’ve had bad experiences with cops or want to generalize them…so be it. I can’t change your mind.

  5. Scotty is right on the money,Cops are Cops and they all know what they are doing. Most are there for a pay check and are feeding at the public trough like the pigs they are. This type of thing is going on all over the country now and the scum known as DHS are no better. They work hand in hand with LEO’s.There are a few law enforcement groups that are trying to do what the Constitution really says and not what the criminal government has bastardized it to say for their agenda! To them my hats off,to the rest may you burn in HELL!
