U.S. former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Friday that she expects to decide early next year on a possible 2016 presidential bid.
“I do have a unique vantage point and set of experiences about what makes the United States operate well and what doesn’t and what a president can do and should be doing,” she said at a forum in Mexico City organized by the Telmex Foundation.
“So I am going to be making a decision around, probably after the first of the year, about whether I’m going to run again or not,” the 66-year-old Clinton said.
Polls show the former secretary of state, senator and first lady as the favorite to win the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination.
Clinton was the early front-runner in the contest for the 2008 Democratic nomination, but then-Sen. Barack Obama ultimately prevailed.
“I think the most important question anybody should ask who’s thinking about it is not whether you’re going to run or whether you’re going to win – it is what’s your vision for the country and can you lead us there?,” she said.
“And I will have to be convinced that I have a very clear vision with an agenda of what I think needs to be done, and that I have the experience and know-how to lead – not just those who agree with me, but those who disagree with me, to try to achieve those goals,” Clinton said.
And the beat goes on.
“So I am going to be making a decision around, probably after the first of the year, about whether I’m going to run again or not,” the 66-year-old Clinton said.”
Would much rather see a rope make that decision for her.
I can only hope that heifer assumes room temperature before then.
She won’t be able to run fast enough when shtf. I agree on rope as well as a matter of principle and forefatherly instruction but lead will suffice as long as it rids us of this kosher witch
