As tuition costs continue to rise, it seems counterintuitive that professors at top universities would give away their courses for free. But that’s exactly what they’re doing, on web-based platforms known as “Massive Open Online Courses.” Spencer Michels reports on how a boom in online learning could change higher education.
This all sounds really awsome and good, but we all know that this will only work if all the players involved in this from the students on up are going to be straight up and honest and I think that that is never going to happen. Not only that but nothing is free and there is some hidden agenda here somewhere and the people know it.
I wouldn`t trust this any more than obama and the goverment.
