Its either ten or twelve feet to the first floor, the ground level can not be living space by law, so I’m about 36 or 38 feet up in that picture. Annamarie Island’s code blocks you from building higher then 38ft, it’s the only Island to put a stop to the condo high rise crap that you see on other FL islands and the coastal areas.

I love it down there. Bugs the size of birds, humidity that goes right through you and more Mexicans than in Mexico itself, gotta love it. 🙂
