Illegal Alien Charged With Attempted Murder Of 15-Year-Old Boy

Illegal Alien Crime Report

KINGMAN, AZ (Mohave Valley Daily News) – A Mexican national was indicted Thursday on six charges including attempted murder of a Kingman teenager

A Mohave County grand jury indicted Jose Baubel Reyes II, 19, on charges of attempted second-degree murder, three counts of aggravated assault, tampering with physical evidence and theft.

Reyes is expected to be arraigned on the charges Thursday before Superior Court Commissioner Billy Sipe Jr. He is being held in county jail on a $250,000 bond.

Reyes was arrested Jan. 16 at the San Luis Port of Entry near Yuma and booked into Yuma County Jail. He was returned to Mohave County on Jan. 25. He fled to Mexico, then returned to Arizona to turn himself in, Kingman Deputy Police Chief Rusty Cooper said.

Reyes allegedly shot and wounded a 15-year-old Kingman boy after a fight over drugs Dec. 30 at a home in the 3500 block of Wells Street. The victim suffered a serious shoulder wound and was taken to a Kingman hospital, then flown to a Las Vegas hospital. He was released about a week later, Cooper said.

  1. “He fled to Mexico, then returned to Arizona to turn himself in,…”

Only reason I could see for THAT happening is that he had some seriously scary Mexicans looking to kill him (cartel, likely).
