Excellent documentary, well worth watching the whole thing. However, they manage to get through the film without one mention of psychopathy, which is a genetic variation in human brains now present in about 4% of the population worldwide and wreaking havoc on the direction of humanity. And while discussing at length the potential for cultural effects on our bodies and brains, they fail to mention politically imposed skewing of gene pools, as in governments that kill anyone with a tendency to think for themselves or who desire to be free. This has already altered the aggregate human personality as much as the intentional breeding of dogs for certain intelligence levels, which they do discuss. Lastly, no discussion is included on the known eugenics movement within the ruling elites who barely attempt to conceal their desire for the bifurcation of humanity into two species: themselves to own and run the planet, and everyone else, to mow their lawns and change their kids’ diapers.
This would be a good time to pick up Huxley’s classic novel Brave New World, and keep in mind it was written in 1932 while you read it.
