Israeli fire crews join fight against California wildfires

Aug 30, 2020
Fire crews from Israel are joining the fight against California’s wildfires. Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg welcomed a group of about a dozen Israeli firefighters on Sunday in front of city hall. The crews got the call to help about 72 hours before, so they packed up their gear and spent 15 hours traveling. They’ll head out on the fire lines with Cal fire on Monday.

  1. There’s obviously no “need” whatsoever for a bunch of Israeli “firemen” from a tiny desert shithole to come & help a country as huge as the US with it’s massive population. So why are they really in the US? How many people actually ask a simple question like that?
