Joel Osteen Says Jesus Christ is Not the Only Way

For Osteen not to say that the unbeliever is on his/her way to burn in hell for eternity, when the vast majority of Larry King’s viewers are unsaved, atheists, heathens, etc., is one of the most egregious sins a so called ‘man of God’ can commit.

To say that Jesus told us not to judge another person’s heart is an out right lie. Jesus said that “every tree is known by his own fruit.” Luke 6:44; “for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.” Mat. 12:34. Jesus told us to “judge righteous judgment.” John 7:24. “Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.” 1 Tim. 5:20.

Jesus said, As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten:” Rev. 3:19.
John said, “Beloved, now are we the sons of God,” 1 John 3:2.
Paul said, “But if ye be without chastisement… then are ye bastards, and not sons.” Heb. 12:8.
Jesus said to “repent.” Rev. 3:19

This is not ‘condemning’ a person (Heb. 4:12).
When Jesus said, “Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?” Matt. 23:33;
and when Paul said, “thou child of the devil,” Acts 13:10;
and when John said, “all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire” Rev. 21:8;
they were not condemning anyone! They were warning us!

Osteen is a motivational speaker who is using the name of Jesus Christ – “supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.” 1 Tim. 6:5

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6

“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts4:12

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;” 1Tim. 2:5

“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:18

“He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” 1 John 5:12

“Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.” John 10:7

“He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.” John 10:1

  1. Just like I said the other day regarding his being at the Vatican…wolf in sheep’s clothing…let me add today “false prophet”, “deceiver”, “liar”, “in it for filthy lucre”, etc. I could go on and on.

    And let’s face it, as dumbed-down as the majority of our people are in America, of course they would follow this man. Amazing, really. People just can’t think for themselves any more.

    If it does not line up with Scripture, it is not truth!

      oh yes I will be called all the bad names in the book………Only, though, by those who refuse to read……….and learlln.
      But I do not follow the guy either….i think…..big money has torn his beginning………..
      Damn, is there nothing to save us all from big money?
      Suppose that question has been around for ever and we are still here, so that’s the answer……………..We Do Prevail

  2. Yes I remember this interview. It was done a while back as i recall. That was definitely a red flag to me. I already felt that he was a charlatan, and spoke to others as to my feelings. Of course they chided me for criticizing a so called man of God. The apostate church is growing in leaps and bounds. Scripture is the only way to stay focused on truth. Dependance on any other source is folly. That said, i am in fear considering the judgment seat of Christ, as I am a filthy sinner who is saved by grace. I will suffer great loss for my sins. Even so come lord Jesus.

    1. The goodness in your heart of hearts is what matters most Paul. You can’t buy it, you either are born with it or not. I will not allow my tormented Catholic friends to “guilt trip” me into anything! You would do well to dismiss the petty tyrants who were so quick to judge yet, slow to understand.     2. Paul, God’s grace is so wonderful! We need it each day, and by God’s mercy, he extends it toward his children. God is always good as his nature is love and light, there is no darkness in him. He so desires that we walk according to the new nature received when we confessed Christ as Lord, and believed God raised him from the dead. Rom.10:9,10. Now, by the renewing of the mind, according to what God has made us to be, we are transformed into the greatness of what God has made us in Christ. We simply continue to remind ourselves of what God has already accomplished through Christ. No matter how we feel, or what our minds might say to the contrary, God’s declaration stands!!!! Thank God we stand on solid ground, and have the truth to change our thinking to. Let’s keep looking to the scriptures, for therein we will know him, and all he has done, and continues to do. We are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

      But people would rather believe a lie that the truth. These charlatans speak “smooth words”, don’t want to offend the blind who are following them.

    3. He’s the guy who should be preaching to his 1000’s of folks to never let the evil doers take their guns!!!! He and Joyce Myers could have a great impact on this country with all the people they reach.

      1. Katie, I believe they will somehow be influenced one way or another if they haven’t already made a stance. You sound more familiar with Joel Osteen and, this is presumptuous on my part, I sense you may be able to influence whatever, however, whoever. Or, I could be just way off the wall.

        1. Milliard, seen him on t.v. a couple times long ago. He’s a big wig, with lots of money, and people that listen to him. Because he reaches so many people and has an audiance, why not incorporate some issues facing the country.
          Some preachers are encouraging the people to wake up, although not with the numbers that Osteen reaches. I agree they are influenced, and perhaps have taken a stance. imo, what Osteen preaches is sugar for the masses, to keep them feeling good and happy, and believing all is well while their country collapses around them.

  4. I have never been very religious. That is not to say that I don’t believe in God because I do. I don’t read the Bible as I was in a religious school for three years and being a Baptist school we read it all the time. I do however govern my life by two things, the Constitution and the ten commandments. This has allowed me to live a lawful as well as spiritual life. I’ve
    always felt that the connection between yourself and God is a personal one and as long as I can look at myself in the mirror in the morning and feel good about who I see I’m doing something right. I’m sure that when I get to talk to St Peter it should be a interesting conversation to say the least.

    It’s all about the numbers to them.
    They come in and remove the music and
    replace it with 7-11 songs. Which have no
    meaning, nothing but repetition. Designed
    to brainwash. Next they remove scripture
    and replace it with watered down little stories.
    From there the flock begins to die, for they’re
    not being spiritually fed.
    Osteen is a snake oil salesman…..his montra
    is the prosperity gospel.

    1. You are exactly right brother. I have seen these witch doctors all through my life. Years ago i got fed up with their ear tickling lies, and started digging out the truth from K.J.V. scripture. I found that most organized religion is apostate to say the least. My family has more or less disowned me because of my passion for the truth, and so be it. I would rather follow the King of Kings, and try to live my life according to His mandates than to try and please man. Man’s wisdom is foolishness to God, and that includes mine.

Paul……..I doubt your family situation is so isolate in it’s happings……..sad though, that the first and only to me that I know, also not a beginner in Christianity, of christ’s teachings is LO V E….and without that as a beginning, well, don’t think there is much to be learned from what he had to say…..and myself, I believe Jesus was correct….honest life belongs to LOVE…
