Yahoo News – by Will LernerIf you’re an employee of a chain store and you see a shoplifter, don’t confront them. It’s been proven again and again and again and again that no matter how noble your intentions are, you can be fired from your job. As KDFW FOX 4 News reports, this is exactly what happened to one Kroger grocery store manager in Arlington, Texas.

A customer in the parking lot of the Kroger recorded the incident on their cellphone. In the video, you can see the unnamed manager approach the shoplifting suspect. The suspect appears to have a knife in his hand. The manager shoves him into a parked car and gets the knife out the suspect’s hand before eventually slamming him down to the ground.
Claude Medlock (KDFW)
The alleged shoplifter is 51-year-old Claude Medlock. According to KDFW, Arlington Police say that Mr. Medlock has a, “lengthy criminal history that includes theft and robbery convictions.” They didn’t consider the manager’s actions a crime, but that didn’t matter to Kroger. Kroger sent a statement to KDFW, which read in part:
“The incident…is not a reflection of our company’s fraud prevention protocol, procedures or training…He is no longer employed by our company.”
The manager told the station that he had worked in loss prevention for 13 years, and “believed he handled the situation properly.”

Yep, once again, doing the right thing is a no-no these days. Too many liability issues for them rich corporations which somehow can’t afford it. Why waste money on the lives of others? Just fire them. Simple enough solution from our corporate Communist/Fascist government.
After all, the corporations’ needs are first and foremost. NOT the lives of its workers.

Really. So you can’t defend the customers from being murdered. Hummmmm. Reminds me of communism, where you just call the cops they take care of it. Yeah right. Screw that, jump the SOB, kick his ass, screw these politically correct corporations, I hope they go out of business. I know when I lived in Kentucky we had a Kroger, they were union, my daughters friend, her dad was a truck driver for Kroger and he was union. See here in the south not many unions, there are some, but very few. Screw unions. They use fear tactics, that is communism at its best.
Come to Krogers – We cater to those like Mr. Medlock (fine upstanding looking fellow) – we disarm all of our employees and have strict policys in place that they are to (at all times) give you whatever you want – Hell, if you can’t find what you’re looking for; just ask one of our helpful managers to get it for you – then just take your sh*t and walk out the door – We’ll can that SOB if he even looks at you funny. We just add it onto the next poor sap’s bill.
PS: Please do this in under the 90 min responce time of our local PD. Otherwise there’s all that pesky paperwork.
When being robbed by a nig nog simply give him the entire cash draw and as he’s putting the money in his pocket …back up, turn and run to the other side of the store and out the nearest exit. Who gives a flying f%&*ck about company money. Finally …I will NEVER shop Kroger again and I hope this guy sues and makes 5 million in a settlement.
