Lebanon High School was put under lockdown Friday, and all other schools in the small Linn County city were on lockout, according to the local school district.

Police said in a brief statement that no shooting had been reported. The school district said there was “a reported threat,” and police said the suspect was found outside of the school.

“There was a report of a gun seen by a student,” Lebanon Mayor Paul Aziz said on Facebook. “The school is in lockdown as a precaution until they find the student and the gun.”
