Here is a larger image of my forecast for severe weather, broken down by day. Note that Florida’s severe weather events will only happen if a developing system in the Gulf of Mexico moves near the coast. Other than that, Florida would not see anything but it will be watched. The rest of the nation looks to be on track and confidence is high for it … with a dragging frontal zone that usually is seen during the springtime. It is, however … fall… and this season is known to produce secondary outbreaks every three to five years.
