NASCAR to Fans: NO Confederate Flags.

The Minority Report – by Michael Becker

NASCAR is “asking” fans to refrain from displaying Confederate flags. “Asking.” We can’t wait for folks to show up wearing one of these:

NASCAR has promised that their facilities will be the most “welcoming environments in all of sports and entertainment.” Unless, of course, you’re hopeless redneck, hillbilly, bigot, married to your first cousin.

“We are asking our fans and partners to join us in a renewed effort to create an all-inclusive, even more welcoming atmosphere for all who attend our events,” the statement read. “This will include the request to refrain from displaying the Confederate flag at our facilities and NASCAR events.”

The move follows NASCAR’s statement last week reiterating that the flag is banned from official use at its events.

  1. NASCAR is aiding in the destruction of the culture that created NASCAR

Boycott NASCAR, because NASCAR has decided to boycott YOU.

  2. What is more important: your freedom of speech or the chance to watch cars drive around in circles all day?

Don’t buy tickets in advance. Show up with your CBF T-shirt. If they won’t sell you tickets, say see ya. Then hang out and protest.

  3. There won’t be any Nascar races under Martial Law, so the owners will be sitting around the garage’s talking about the good old days, sayin ‘Shoulda let them flags Fly’

Oh my goodness….your typical bullshit Commie corporate memo/bulletin, “asking” someone to do something, which in other words is their polite way of “ordering” someone to do something or in this case NOT to do something, such as bring the Confederate Flag.

These people/companies are pathetic. Every single corporation is all involved in this little charade and all need to be hung for treason, cowardness and stupidity. Every last CEO.

      1. Thanks a million for the heads up Koyote, I appreciate it. I just bought it and it’s on the way. I need a more in depth detailed history lesson on the civil war, so again, thanks.

      1. Thank you Sharon, I also bought this one as well. I read more comments than I post on FTTWR but none the less I appreciate and respect all you guys and gals, including Henry and JD. Thanks to all!

  5. nascar has a special place in my heart.

I have covered media from multi-day events. (Not that anyone is asking for old archived footage recently –I digress if they did, I would boycott it) I will officially boycott until they come to their senses, makes me wonder about NHRA I have media from those events archived as well.

Will be keeping EARs up to official word from NHRA as well.
While I ain’t DOING any TV show, I used to, and I do have archives I can give away.

I own one confederate flag, I bought it in Valdosta Georgia when I was TDY in the USAF on a HUMID DAY, at a little store on the shielf with a little sign that said “No SUNDAY BEER” Some of us forward thinkers who already knew about “NO SUNDAY BEER” had stocked up (I was not so forward thinking but I did get a couple beers that night), we drank too many beers on sunday then threw the PILOTS furniture and everyone and everything into the pool! oop’s we always get carried away ;o)

IN fairness, it was soul soothing and funny to watch the little pilots (our officers) flying into the pool via drunken enlisted assist.

I will never give my flag up. without blood sweat and a fight.

  6. NASCAR is tailor made for sheeple ‘programming’. The hypnotic effect of watching ANYTHING going in circles can’t be denied. Never saw the point, myself.

    BORING!

      1. Only sport I ever really watched was football (pro only), and that ended when I quit watching the idiot box for good.

Besides, I think ALL sports are fixed these days. The jews don’t like to leave anything to chance.

  7. In an effort to create a more all-inclusive friendly environment for random pool parties, we’re asking people to refrain from playing rap music full of profanity that tells listeners to “kill whitey”.

Also, because the Roman Empire was known to have used slaves for around 2000 years, we’re encouraging people to refrain from displaying any items relating to the Roman Empire.

We also ask people to refrain from displaying pictures of the Great Pyramids, as they are considered monuments to what was accomplished with slave labor, although some swear the “slaves” were actually volunteers who worked in exchange for beer.

Also, any mention of Babylon, which also used slaves 4000 years ago, is discouraged.

“Evidence points to who they were and what their motivations were for fighting on the side of slave owners.”
