http://democracynow.org – A stunning new exposé published today in The Intercept about the elite military unit SEAL Team 6 reveals a darker side of the group best known for killing Osama bin Laden. National security reporter Matthew Cole spent two years investigating accounts of ghastly atrocities committed by members of the unit, including mutilating corpses, skinnings and attempted beheadings. According to sources, senior command staff were aware of the misconduct but did little to stop it—and often helped to cover it up.
When you train pitbulls to kill, you can’t always control every situation.
Good timing on this. Currently Hollywood (undoubtedly sponsored by the CIA and/or the Pentagon) has some fresh propaganda in the works pertaining specifically to SEAL Team Six. I believe there’s a movie and a TV series coming out, each entitled “Six.” No doubt it will be more “support our troops” statist cheerleading intended to reinforce popular support for the government’s enforcers.
As for the expose itself, none of it is terribly surprising. In fact, I expected worse from the Barking Seals.
The audio clip of Britt Slabinski (around 13:00), where he describes how he and others entertained themselves by repeatedly shooting a dead guy in the legs to make them twitch, jibes pretty well with my impression of a typical SEAL: a mindless, immature adrenaline junkie who’s in great physical condition.
The loyalty of these men is bought by the government for the low, low price of lots of flattery about being “elite warriors” and so forth. But when was the last time SEALs had to fight a first-world opponent? Anyone can be “elite” when they’re fighting a bunch of primitive, sandal-wearing farmers and goat herders who don’t even have access to prescription glasses.
Also, I wonder how often they’re reminded of the complete lack of honor revealed by anyone who takes a solemn oath and then does nothing to keep it. If I’m not mistaken, every SEAL has taken an oath to protect and defend the Constitution. How many of them have actually done this? All I see most of them doing is serving the domestic enemies of the Bill of Rights, i.e., the corrupt and tyrannical federal government.
To be fair, there are a few former Special Forces guys who have made an effort to keep their oath. The ex-Ranger who goes by “John Mosby” on the Web seems to be putting a lot of effort into training and educating freedom-minded Americans about combat and guerrilla resistance. So proper credit ought to be given to those like him.
Agreed to all the above and found it ironic it was always “six”.

That’s all you need to read to know that “Democracy Now” is in the business of shoveling BS.
If they’re promoting the communists’ myths, they’re the enemy, regardless of any claims to the contrary. If they’re shoveling that garbage, they may as well change their name to “communism now”.
