This is pretty crazy and scary. The banks know what’s coming and it’s not good. I just got a Life Insurance offer in the mail from my bank and listen to how chilling the exclusion section reads:
This coverage does not cover loss by or resulting from:
“…undeclared war or war-like act by “a government,” sovereign power, regular or IRREGULAR military force, or agent or authority of any of them, including but not limited to INSURRECTION, REBELLION OR REVOLUTION, the use of weapons of mass destruction, chemical or biological weapons….”
This policy is not a military policy, its just for a regular customer. And notice it doesn’t say “FOREIGN Government.” It specifically includes our government…

Found another insurance company with this shit too
This is for Long Term Disability from Aetna
“Long term disability coverage also
does not cover any disability that:
– Is due to insurrection, rebellion, or taking part in a riot or civil commotion.
– Is due to intentionally self-inflicted
injury
(while sane or insane).
– Is due to war or any act of war (declared or not declared).”

A completely honest disclosure. Actually, I find it kind of refreshing, albeit somewhat ludicrous…
… due to the fact that I seriously doubt people are going to be too worried about filing insurance claims once the SHTF.
In fact, logic would dictate that the insurance companies would likely be burnt to the ground.
Yep. So true. So true.
Nothing new here. Back in 1970 when I was in Drivers Ed the manual stated that auto insurance which was mandatory even back then for driving a car would not cover any auto coverage involving cars that were used to “overthrow the government”…now why would life insurance policies cover something that auto insurance companies wouldn’t cover in 1970? Honestly why would anyone pay for worthless insurance? Too many loopholes, regardless.
Agreed DL. I’ve seen these exlusions for decades, nothing new here.
Exclusions unless your sir-name ends with a stein or other related joo name. Then they would pay double for the twin towers of your home.
