There will be no broadcasts for a week, the stress has overwhelmed me and I don’t want to go the way Spike did.

I have to be away from it.

By the way, we do still need help.

  4. I know exactly what you mean Henry and Laura. You eat and sleep this day in and day out. When it gets too much for me I am able to back off for a bit. I think of you often as I do Spike (damn how I miss that guy). Kick back and relax. Love you guys!!!!

  8. To all the trenchers: to help Henry and Laura get a break, I’m going to indefinitely stop sending articles to the site. Henry and Laura having been working for many long, hard years on this site, they definitely need some rest. I may take a break from most of the Internet myself for a while. I’ll still check the site to keep up on important issues and comment where appropriate. There is a war to restore the Republic coming, we all need to be well rested for it. Thank you Henry, Laura, and all who contribute to this site be it financially, submitting content, or any other kind of support. Henry puts it best: “God bless the Republic, death to the international corporate mafia, we shall prevail.”

      3. Great idea! Hopefully with some rest, Henry and Laura will be feeling better soon. Running a site like this takes a lot of time and energy, which I’m sure they would much rather be using for more enjoyable things. One of the things I never want to see is the trenches just become a site where news articles are posted and people are pacified by bitching and moaning on the comment section and during the broadcasts. The real fight is coming, it’s inevitable, and it definitely won’t be on done “online”.

    2. The kids share in the posting of the articles, when Henry and Laura want a break, their boys chip in and help out. They do a great job!

      They do a lot of the night work at times. Guarding the site from trolls and maggots.

I have had two vacation-like episodes in the last three weeks (one a symposium for my hubby where I got to do all sorts of cool things like swimming, etc.) and the other a family reunion in Cajun country. If you guys need a vacation, take it! Most news sites take weekends off…the least you can do is take off the rest of the week. Will send some cash in a week or so. And maybe something extra…

    Get out into the woods, forget politics, breathe some fresh air, and try to relax.

    Try to quit smoking if you can (that’s what I’m struggling with right now), or reduce it to as few butts as possible

    However, I’m glad you’re finally taking some decent time off… now I can go back to camping & fishing for a while. I’m enjoying escaping the insanity for now.

    1. Geez, the author thinks it’s an awesome idea to dictate to men when and where they should be permitted to show up. The suggestion “… is simply to ban all men from being on the streets or on public transport after, say, 9.30pm…” Ha!!

      This is an horrible attack on male character and male freedom. It goes beyond accusing to actually attempting to restrict movement, to cage up, so to speak. It’s especially heart-breaking because of all the good men I’ve know and how much they.ve given, how hard they work, how decent they are, how important to so many aspects of life.

      But I am selfish. I am wanting to protect that which completes me, compliments me, protects me, and so much more. This messes with an intrinsic balance that keeps sanity and health. The author practically begs that this restricting of men becomes law. To my brothers I say, I will defend you forever, for you have defended me for millennia. This evil must go.

          1. Harrah, I can’t say I’ve heard of it, yet I see it’s not to far from Ok City. I lived in Norman, Ok, for around 5 yrs., about 27 yrs. ago. It was a pretty nice town back then. I still keep in touch with some folks there.
