Two years ago Joe Lozito was attacked by a serial killer in the NYC subway and suffered multiple stabbing wounds before taking the man down. According to Lozito, two NYPD police officers were standing within viewing distance and didn’t raise a hand to help him until after the the killer was disarmed. Then they arrested him and claimed credit for the apprehension.
Lozito filed charges against the city for the officers not taking any action and again according to Lozito, the city claimed the NYPD has no legal duty to protect any members of the public.
The first video below is from February, when WeAreChange first interviewed Lozito and the second video is an update with reaction to the court’s ruling in August 2013.
In the ruling, the judge called Lozito highly credible, brave and courageous, but dismissed the case saying the law did not allow him to sue the city for negligence because he would have had to have contact with the officers in the motorman’s booth and be able to prove they knew he was in danger. The two NYPD cops were only a few feet away.
The serial killer Lozito took down was Maksim Gelman, who went on a 28-hour murderous crime spree in 2011, killing of four people and the wounding of five others.

Wrong they still protect and serve that is what it is all about its just not us they are serving. We gotta change that.
Of course the protect and serve.They are the first line of defense for the corrupt judges and courts and work hand in hand with the feds when they come to town. They are there to protect the real traitors and criminals from the citizen in the event they think they should pay for their crimes.That is the exact reason that they have built the police state that they have to protect the guilty from their subjects! There is only one thing that will ever change any of this for the better and it is the same thing that happened in 1716,the voting booth will NEVER change anything that really matters.The government is out of control and will do anything it pleases and if you don’t like it ,the police will take you away.
“No duty to protect and serve”. Well then, I would like to know why taxpayers fund the NYPD? For that matter, why do we keep paying taxes to fund anything. If people revolted and stopped paying taxes, and I mean everyone, the wheels would fall off this war machine and police state. What are they going to do, arrest everyone. Oh, I forgot, that is their plan.
This issue was decided in the Franklin administration. The Court ruled no person need do any thing they think will endanger there life or physically harm them. It involved the cops then as well. But if you see one being beat or are ask to be a witness. That might endanger your life as well. It is a 2 way street here. And apples to work as well. It was a very important ruling. So I will have to say they are in the right here. But remember this rule. When they need help!
At times NYPD is even worse than LAPD.
But only marginally so.
That`s pretty bad #1. That must mean that they are worse than Chicago cops ? lol

and military hacks. This out rage, included with oh so
many others, shows the complete breakdown of morals.
In any given society, people step forward to look out for
others, especially those who’re unable to protect themselves.
The days in which we live, are very troubling times,
to say the least. But we were warned about these days.

1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
There should be surprise as to the events taking place, world wide.
Now that these cretans have a hold of our country, we must stand
against them….or we’ll be herded by them.
Look to Our Lord for the strength to do so.
No duty or desire.
