Oregon ranchers protect sagebrush habitat

In May 2014, ranchers in Harney County, Oregon, signed a Candidate Conservation Agreement with Assurances (CAAA) with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to preserve more than one million acres of private rangelands to protect the Greater sage-grouse and its sagebrush habitat.
