Oregon standoff: Police report uptick in crime in the area

Published on Jan 12, 2016 by RT America

Harney County Sheriff David Ward says that ever since the men who are now occupying the refuge came to town there has been an uptick in cases of vandalism, harassment and intimidation. While the original militia claims that they want peace, they are drawing a growing number of other groups coming in. RT’s Simone Del Rosario reports on the uptick of acts of intimidation against law enforcement and families in the area.

  1. wouldnt be surprised if the uptick in crime is because the cops are bored

and want to make this an issue

or that the local cops are “too busy” making a name for themselves with this , that they have ignored the rest of their duties

whats that called ?.. Dereliction of Duty .. isnt that a firing offence ?

  2. “… there has been an uptick in cases of vandalism, harassment and intimidation.”

Have those ‘crimes’ been ‘upgraded’ to felony status yet?
