In India, a searing heatwave has killed more than 1000 people over the past week. The temperature has climbed above 47 degrees celsius in some areas.The southern states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been sweltering, as well as West Bengal and Odisha. Al Jazeera’s Nicole Johnston reports.
