Perhaps entirely to be expected, the US administration has unambiguously rejected Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi’s urgent call for Washington to enact a US troop ‘withdrawal mechanism’ in Iraq. In a Thursday phone call to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, the Iraqi leader urged the administration to “send delegates to Iraq to prepare a mechanism to carry out the parliament’s resolution regarding the withdrawal of foreign troops from Iraq.”  Continue reading “US Rebuffs Iraq PM Request To Talk Troop Exit: It’s “Our Right” As A “Force For Good” To Stay”

It happens so much, it’s got a name: Testilying. Testilying is what happens when police officers lie to citizens during traffic stops, detainment, or in the interrogation room in order to trick a person into doing what they want. In 2018, the NY Times tackled several incidents of Testilying and discovered it even happens in the court room—thus the term. While lying in the court room is certainly the most egregious of cases, the following incident of cops lying shows just how dangerous, even deadly, it can be.  Continue reading “Yes, Cops Can Legally Lie To You, It’s So Bad that One Cop’s Lie Made a Man Kill Himself”

When I was nine years old, my family and I, all wearing gas masks, would huddle in our bomb shelter, which doubles as my parents’ closet. It was the Gulf War, and Saddam Hussein was lobbing Scud missiles at Israel in retaliation to the US and its allies invading Iraq.

In 2003, in the ramp-up to the second Iraq war, tensions were high again: I took my gas mask to the bar in which I worked. People sat with their brown boxes to their sides, sipping beer and waiting to hear whether the air siren would sound.   Continue reading “Israelis don’t want to be America’s pawns in the Middle East any longer. Previously, TFTP reported how a disturbing push was made to attempt to normalize pedophilia as a mainstream “sexual orientation.” The move involved pedophiles rebranding themselves as “Minor Attracted Persons” (MAP) with the hope that they will be accepted like the LGBTQ community. Disgustingly enough, it was somewhat effective as multiple outlets reported it like it was totally acceptable to be sexually attracted to children. While this incident was extremely disturbing, even more worrisome is that this normalization appears to be spreading and as some recent activity on Twitter illustrates, it’s condoned by social media giants.  Continue reading “While Banning Pro-Peace Accounts, Twitter Openly Allows Pedophiles to Discuss Raping Children”
