A police officer in Aurora, Colorado, who was found passed out drunk at the wheel of his patrol car in March was not investigated for driving under the influence, despite officers at the scene smelling alcohol and describing possible intoxication.

Newly released bodycam footage shows officers responding to Officer Nathan Meier’s patrol car. One officer can be heard commenting on Meier’s apparent intoxication during the video. Others comment on the smell of alcohol at the scene. Meier is still employed as an Aurora police officer. US Naval Aviators across the nation have penned an open letter to Capitol Hill and the Pentagon, urging them to consider allowing servicemembers to be armed on base.

Virginia – Earlier in the week, we reported on how lawmakers over in Virginia were threatening to use the National Guard if members of local law enforcement refused to enforce laws passed in the state that they felt violated the second amendment.

Well, looks like Tazewell County isn’t going down without a fight. On top of calling themselves a second amendment sanctuary county, they’re also crafting a militia as well. Pervez Musharraf, Pakistan’s former president who has been living outside the country, was sentenced to death in absentia Tuesday on charges of high treason stemming from his decision to suspend the constitution and detain judges in 2007.

President Trump’s Justice Department has shut down an effort to build three miles of private border wall just north of the Rio Grande after the US Attorney’s Office for Texas’s southern district warned that the project could impact the border river and potentially violate a treaty with Mexico.  

Despite Trump’s claims that his administration has nearly finished the wall, in reality, Trump has only built 90 miles of border wall. An illegal alien accused of killing a father of two, Corey Cottrell, in June has been released from law enforcement custody into the United States by an Obama-appointed judge for the second time since Cottrell’s death.

As Breitbart News has chronicled, Jose Rodriguez, a 27-year-old illegal alien from Honduras, is accused of running a red light on June 22 in Illinois, causing him to hit and kill 39-year-old Corey Cottrell, who was riding his motorcycle at the time to visit his mother Kathy.
