BOILING SPRING LAKES, NC (WECT) – Emergency crews responded to the scene of an officer involved shooting at a home in Boiling Spring Lakes Sunday afternoon.

The State Bureau of Investigation has been called to the incident at the request of District Attorney Jon David, according to a spokesperson for the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office.
