Getting kicked out of Democratic Meet and Greet FOR FILMING Candidate speeches.

Muskegon, MI – November 22
The Progressive Democratic Women’s Caucus of Muskegon was featuring a free event to the public with Guest speakers
Michigan Gubenetorial Challenger Mark Schauer,
U.S. Senate hopeful Gary Peters,
Attorney General Challenger Mark Totten,
34th MI Senate Challenger Cathy Forbes.

The purpose of me attending was for public education. These people are running to be YOUR representatives, and the public should know where they stand on the issues.

The audience was 100% Democrat. For being a party the preaches a ‘big tent’ philosophy of inclusion of everyone who may be interested, the way I was treated was less than inviting.

I mingled and small-talked before the speeches began. I set my Camera up in the back corner of the room (out of anyone’s way)

The following is how the Michigan Mainstreet Movement Organizers treats unfamiliar faces….

If you were thinking of supporting these organizations and the people they associate with, BE CAREFUL. They stand for censorship and secrecy.

Ps. He could have asked me not to record and not ask me to leave, as I wasn’t aware of the censorship policies they had in place. I would have obliged accordingly (it is a private event after all). Where they went wrong was jumping from “You can’t record” right into kicking me out.
