Carol Bundy email: Hi,
We need some support in Salt Lake City, Utah. State Rep. Ken Ivory will be debating the Transfer of Public Lands with former BLM Director Pay Shay.
As you may know Rep. Ken Ivory spearheaded a Utah Law to force the Federal Government to turn over control of all public lands in the State of Utah.
On Wednesday May 14th, The Tribune’s Jennifer Napier-Pearce will moderate an Oxford-style debate on the resolution: “The State of Utah is best suited to manage public lands within its borders.”
Arguing for the Transfer Of Public Lands will be Utah House Speaker Rebecca Lockhart and West Jordan Republican Rep. Ken Ivory, president of the American Lands Council.
Arguing against the resolution will be former BLM director Pat Shea and Dan McCool, political science professor and director of the Environmental and Sustainability Studies Program at the University of Utah.
The event, which begins at 7 p.m., is free and open to the public at the Salt Lake City Main Library, 210 E. 400 South.
Make sure you show up early and bring lots of friends. Lets pack this house early, seating is limited.
Those attending will have an opportunity to vote on which team was most persuasive.
This is your opportunity to learn more about both sides of the Transfer of Public lands issue.
Please attend and support Ken Ivory, Rebecca Lockhart and the Transfer of Public Lands. This is a very important and key element of correcting the massive government over reach we all suffer from today.
Thank you,
-Carol
