A Greenville, Tennessee man is facing charges today after an investigation revealed that he was downloading porn on his laptop. Oh, did I fail to mention, this man was a Police Officer!
Herbert Eugene Miller, an auxiliary officer working for the town of Greenville was caught searching and downloading child pornography on his work issued lap top. During a routine maintenance check it was discovered that there were searches and porn downloaded on his lap top.
Miller was not notified at that time, instead the FBI was brought in. A member of the Greenville Police department said,
“Our assistant chief Craig Fillers realized this was a significant issue. We contacted the FBI. At that point they did a thorough investigation of the material that was found on the computer and realized their investigation needed to step up.”
Upon further investigation, it was discovered that there was actually thousands of explicit images and more then 80 instances of child pornography.
When the time stamp of the searches were inspected it showed that many of them wee completed while Miller was on duty in the early morning hours.
Just in case you thought maybe Miller was looking at 17 teen year old girls (creepy but not as creepy), think again. His searches were very targeted. Offical documentation says that some of the key word searches included phrases such as:
fifth grade girls,” “naked middle school girls” and “hot high school girls naked.”
Needless to say Herbert Eugene Miller is no longer working of Greeneville. He will now be working on not dropping the soap. He is facing charges of two felony counts of receiving and possessing of child pornography. He was arrested and is being held in custody pending a detention hearing next Wednesday.

Cops will be cops I guess. Yea, guys, there was some county cops I think they were – maybe they were city cops though- that got caught with their their lap tops about a year or so ago in Chippewa Co., Wi. while on duty but were watching porno`s and kiddie porn…….. Kind of makes me wonder what is going on in them there cop bars, them sick f`ers.
