Do we need to prepare for the Tribulation? Yes, absolutely, Noah prepared his family and the ark for his tribulation as an example for us, so we should prepare for our Tribulation (1 Corinthians 10:11). Our Father has told us we will not be able to buy or sell during the days of antichrist (our Tribulation) which is to say during the days Satan will reign as king on the earth claiming to be Jesus Christ.
Understanding that fact and knowing we will not be able to buy food or clothing during the Tribulation we should prepare to ensure we have the items needed to sustain ourselves for the days ahead.
Before we start our Bible study, let us ask our Father for wisdom and understanding of His Word, in Jesus Name amen.
Turn your Bible with me to,
Proverbs 6:6-8
6 “Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise.”
7 “Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,”
8 “Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.”
What does the ant do? She prepares her meat, she prepares her household for the times when there will be no food.
Proverbs 6:9
9 “How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?”
Do not wait for a special sign to prepare. The signs are all around us if we have eyes to see and ears to hear. Do not wait for someone to prepare for you. With few exceptions such as the severely handicapped we are all capable of preparing in some fashion if we put our minds to it.
Proverbs 6:10-11
10 “Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:”
11 “So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.”
If you do not prepare, do not be surprised if you find yourself without. These are the Words of your Father in Heaven. He has told us all to prepare for tough times, to observe even the tiny ant who is capable of these things. How much more capable are we? Consider these words.
As the ant, we should ensure we have enough food, water and the items that are needed to sustain our households through difficult times and most importantly, to sustain us through the Tribulation. If we think about it there are many reasons to prepare aside from the end times. There are natural disasters to consider. Think about Hurricane Katrina and the havoc it caused in New Orleans and the surrounding areas. Then we have snow storms and high winds which knock out power for weeks in some parts of our country. If you are not prepared for these events how will you sustain your family through them?
When these situations arise that is when we see riots in the streets like during Hurricane Katrina. Many people do not realize it, but Martial Law was declared and citizens who stayed at home with arms to protect their families had their firearms confiscated by the government. That is a fact. This event left these people defenseless against a town of lawlessness. This just goes to show us why and how we should be prepared to defend our homes. During Katrina even some law enforcement took part in the theft and we heard the numerous reports of murders and rapes taking place during this time not to mention how difficult it was for many to acquire a warm meal and a roof over their head.
We have also heard reports about chemical spills in the rivers that supply us with drinking water. The taps were shut off and people had to fend for themselves. How would you and your family fair in such conditions?
Instead of being a victim of such an event plan for these types of disaster scenarios. Consider re-used milk jugs in the freezer filled with water. These will help keep the food cool in a power outage and also double as water storage if needed. However, do not re-use milk jugs if you do not intent to freeze them as they tend to leak over time. A better option is to re-use juice containers. For large storage quantities consider rain barrels. What if you have access to water, but it is contaminated? Consider a Berkey (one brand of many) water purifier that is used in foreign countries to purify contaminated water and requires no electricity. How about personal hygiene? Consider sanitary wipes to assist with cleaning.
We should be prepared not just for a bad storm, but prepared for the end times, the coming Tribulation. This should be on your priority list. Unlike a storm, the flood of Satan, our Tribulation will last far longer than a week.
Keep in mind canned goods should be a staple and those “Best By Dates” are not accurate as some studies point out (ensure you are rotating your stock), meaning those canned items last far longer than the dates would indicate. Dried rice and beans are cheap and easy to store, vacuum seal them to ensure the bugs do not enjoy your labors. Dried fruits and meats are a great option. You can even freeze dried meats and thaw when needed extending their shelf life. Try and give yourself a variety of foods, because when you need them you will quickly get tired of rice and beans. The Tribulation is going to be hard enough on us and our families, so think ahead and try to make a difficult situation easier to manage. Do not forget about other essentials like toiletries and medications.
Consider alternate ways of cooking. How about that old camp stove in your shed, do you have propane for it? A charcoal grill, do you have charcoal and lighter fluid? Both of these items can be used to cook food both on the grill and in a pan over the flame. Never forget about wood heating as well. While cooking food remember a charcoal grill in the city will attract attention as will the smell of food being cooked for hours with heavy seasonings. Save the seasonings for the end and make cooking a quick task, not a drawn out process.
Some extra gasoline should be on hand in case you need to travel short distances. If you have the resources a generator is a good option depending on your location. However, if you live in the city this will only draw attention to yourself and should be avoided. Think about everything that you need to get through the day. Consider turning off the power to your home for a day to simulate what we will most likely face during the Tribulation. This can be a fun thing to do, break out the candles and see how you manage. Speaking of, do not forget candles, matches and oil lamps (extra wicks). Take note, in the wrong circumstances an illuminated window to someone on the outside might draw unwanted attention to yourself.
With that said, consider your surroundings. Are your neighbors friendly? Do they know the Lord? Do they understand the idea of being prepared for emergencies? If they show no sign or interest it might be better to not say anything further as this will only draw attention to yourself. Our Father told us this would be the worst time the earth has ever witnessed and you better get set for it.
Now some people will say, preparing shows a lack of faith.
It is true, God did provide for the Israelites for 40 years raining manna and keeping their shoes and clothing from wearing out (Deuteronomy 8:3-4). But we should remember the Israelites were traveling, they did not have the opportunity to plant seeds and raise cattle. However, we are planted, we are not wondering in the desert and we should prepare in order to support ourselves in the future to the extent that we are able. We also have the woman in Revelation 12 who is symbolic of the Israelite tribes who are nourished for a time during the Tribulation, that time being the last half of the Tribulation when Satan reigns absolute. Yet, I would say preparing shows your Father you have Faith in His Word and you are trying your best to take care of yourself and not rely exclusively on Him. The scriptures state if you do not work you do not eat (2 Thessalonians 3:10). This goes for the Tribulation as well, if you are not going to work at preparing then you have nothing to complain about when you are desperate for sustenance during the Tribulation. In my opinion, if you have the means and are not preparing you are tempting God and that will not fly with our Father. God may very well provide miracles (five loaves two fish as an example) for us during the Tribulation of Satan. However, if we have the means we should prepare and not assume God will step in and do the work for us. God has always asked us to do work before He will provide and this is no different. The Tribulation will literally separate the men from the boys so to speak.
Without going into too much detail it is very probable that we will have an economic collapse on a global scale and probably Martial Law in our country before the Tribulation. Think about the scope of that for a moment and consider approximately 50% of this nation is on public assistance. Imagine if public assistance checks did not go out and the ensuing chaos that would transpire. This scenario would not last long as the globalists would lose control at that point so any great collapse will be very short in my opinion. The globalists have been working for thousands of years to gain absolute control of the world and they do not want to lose it right at the end. Considering the outlined scenario it would be extremely difficult for people to acquire the things they need.
With that said, do you or will you have enough to share with neighbors? This is also a serious thought. The generosity of us all wants to give, but this can also get you killed. Disasters and times of crisis tend to bring out the worst in people. If you share a little and they come back will you have more to give? What about their family and friends will you have enough to provide for them as well? Seriously think about these things and the possible scenarios so you are not caught off guard.
Now let us move into the time of the Tribulation. These people who were once suffering will be taken care of by Satan and his Beast Government. Why do I say that? Most people reject our Father today and have no clue what is coming, but they will believe Satan is Jesus Christ and worship him, so Satan will provide for them. On the other hand you will not worship Satan so he will not provide for you or your family. Remember, this will not end for the Elect when Satan gets here, it will only get worse. The Elect have to hold out until the very end when the true Christ returns so prepare now. It is a fact we will not be able to buy or sell, so if you do not prepare now Satan will capitalize on any weakness you have. If you have not prepared, you will have nothing during the Tribulation. In this situation you risk placing yourself in a position which would require you to bow to Satan and accept his One World Beast Government and him as God in order to purchase goods, that is something you do not want to do. There is no reason you cannot start preparing today. Add a little extra to your cart when you go shopping today and in a few months it will add up quickly. Consider having some precious metals on hand to use for trade during the Tribulation, this too is a possible scenario. Please note, if someone comes knocking on your door during the Tribulation in need and they are not worshiping Satan you are absolutely obligated to take that person in or assist them. They are one of your Christian brothers, help them stand against Satan as you will be doing. Be wise though to any possible setups. There could be attempts by some to root out those who refuse to bow before Satan disguising themselves as those in need…
On top of the physical preparation there is the spiritual aspect to consider. How solid are you in God’s Word? Do you trust Him? Do you have faith in His Word? Have you considered the possible scenarios in your mind? Have you considered the events that will transpire during the Tribulation? Have you considered what your daily life will be like? Have you considered how you are going to be hated by the world because you reject Satan who is the perceived Christ by the world? Have you considered the gravity of it all, the stress, the fact the whole world will want you dead just like they wanted Christ dead in His time. This will not be easy to stand up against. Many people cannot stand up to a crowd much less a crowd of 7 billion souls. We should physically, mentally and spiritually prepare to the best of our abilities, but this is truly not an event we can stand up to on our own. All the preparing in the world will be completely empty if we do not have Faith in our Father.
Remember, God will be there to see us through the Tribulation if we believe and trust Him. On the other hand the lack of God in other peoples lives will be the reason they do not stand against Satan, instead it will be the reason they fail their Heavenly Father. Ultimately, they did not possess enough oil in their lamps.
I would like to point out the Tribulation is not just about understanding Satan is the false messiah, but about understanding the pressure that will be exerted on us for not worshiping him. Those pressures will be applied not just by the world itself, but by Satan and his fallen angels and I believe the vials of Revelation document some of this. AsEphesians 6:10-17 document we need to, “put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Did God’s Word say some of the armor or part of the armor? No, His Word said the whole armor, all of it and we need to truly comprehend this and try to understand what we are going to be dealing with.
During the Tribulation if you are out in the streets, “Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison“,(Matthew 5:25). Do not allow yourself to be delivered into the hands of your enemy before your time, that is if you are meant to be delivered up to begin with, some, but not all of the Elect will be delivered up. We should not be anxious for this, Christ told us himself be anxious for nothing (Philippians 4:6). Just settle down and stay in the Word and let God’s Will come to pass. While not all of us will be delivered up, many of us will play a part in God’s plan in one fashion or another. Some of us may help keep our family on the narrow path that leads to God while others may lead a neighborhood to our Father. No matter how big or small we are all doing our part just like the parable of the talent(Matthew 25:14-30).
While what we have discussed in this article may sound tough, we can, and we will make it through the Tribulation. Why? Because you have taken the time to prepare physically, mentally and spiritually. Most importantly because we have our Father on our side who is able to deliver us from our enemies. We have our Father on our side who leads us to the green pastures and who guides us to the still waters (Psalm 23:2-3). We will overcome the Tribulation of Satan because we will not shake, we will not waiver, and we will not bow at the appearance or influence of Satan. We will stand our ground, we will stand firmly on our Rock, Jesus Christ.
In Jesus Name Amen.
Ezekiel 38:7
7 “Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.”

Very glad to see you don’t buy into the pre-trib/mid-trib Rapture lie, Brandon.
Excellent information.
