During a forum of independent local and regional media in St Petersburg, President Vladimir Putin was asked by a blogger about his thoughts on the US Patriot Act and Internet information being processed through servers in America. Putin reminded the audience that the Internet was originally a CIA project.
This I didn’t know.
A gap in my education, obviously.
