Rainwater Harvesting with a TARP

Published on Jul 30, 2016 by homesteadonomics

My latest rainwater harvesting project using a billboard tarp to collect and divert water into an IBC tote for later use. Whether you’re wanting to collect more for your garden or maybe have a tiny house and don’t have the roof space, I think this provides a good solution for a cheap and inexpensive way to collect some extra rainwater.

This could also be done with barrels, stock tanks or a simple lined hole in the ground. I hope this gives you some ideas that might be helpful for your own rainwater harvesting or homesteading activities.
