On the eve of next week’s expected announcement regarding President Obama’s proposed national energy tax, Sen. Mike Enzi (R-Wyoming) says the administration has set out to kill coal energy and its 800,000 jobs, as well as that of the Keystone pipeline.
“The Administration has set out to kill coal and its 800,000 jobs. If it succeeds in death by regulation, we’ll all be paying a lot more money for electricity – if we can get it. Our pocketbook will be lighter, but our country will be darker,” Sen. Enzi said.
When it comes to oil and gas, the Obama Administration’s tactic is “death by delay,” Sen. Enzi said:
“The Administration also slow walks approval of domestic oil and gas production. It’s death by delay for the Keystone XL Pipeline. We all want clean air and clean water. We don’t want costly regulations that make little or no difference, that are making things less affordable. Republicans want electricity and gas when you need it, at a price you can afford.”

There is saving this country. And maybe best we do not even try to return it to the same as it used to be, because that allowed this to happen. we need to allow the socialists, gays, trans whatevers, and illegals to be happy in their own little section of the world and make absolutely certain they stay there and regulate each other. Then maybe we can build a new country that will be worth living in.
As far as darkness goes, in a shithole it usually is dark. To have light one must get out of the shithole.
So. Reducing electricity means rural remote folks with their own water wells NOT regulated by water meters from a local water dept, and reducing everyone’s electricity so refrigerated food gets refrigeration only part of the day in the summer, as well as everyone’s air conditioning/fans/swamp coolers/etc. in summer and heaters in winter gets cut off part of the day just because this is what the Obamabots/Stalinists want? And oh yeah no rain water for gardens or livestock because EPA (EPA!) owns the water (unless it’s Nestle)…yep, Holodomor.
