Cop Block – by Deputies of the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported home invasion in Hollywood, SC at 11:02 a.m. on Thursday, May 7. The incident took place at 5923 Scott White Road.
According to deputies’ accounts, two black male suspects were seen fleeing the rear entrance of the home on bicycles. The deputies then approached the back door, where the armed homeowner was “exiting or standing at the back door of the residence.”
Maj. Eric Watson of the CCSO attests, “Our deputies challenged the subject and ordered him to drop his weapon, which he didn’t at the time. As a result, one of our deputies fired his service weapon striking the subject once in the neck area.”
Officials reported that gunfire had been exchanged between the home invaders and the homeowner, but that it is “unknown” if the invaders injured the homeowner.
The homeowner, who is unnamed in the news article, was transported to the Medical University of South Carolina for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

I’m not defending the trigger-happy cop, but it was a little bit stupid of the home owner to be standing in her doorway with a gun in her hand if she knew the police were on the way and the crooks had already fled.
“responded to a reported home invasion” — that’s IF she knew they were coming, and IF she knew the crooks were gone. The article doesn’t say who made the call.

Bottom line is NEVER EVER call the Police for anything. They are NOT your friend and are low grade morons and psychopaths. That is a reputation they’ve richly earned and continue to reinforce every single day in America.
