Well thanks Paul, I cannot wait for some nice sunny days – we are way long over due bro.
Yes, I like some beatles every once in a while. Good change I think – of course some sunny warm days are way long over due. Been a long cold winter. Yes Paul, we are still in the low single digits every morning and it doesn`t seem to want to warm up much during the day either.
hah Mayby get
Bulldog, and Missy to push from behind huh! 🙄
Thanks for posting this great George Harrison song! Here in the desert, The sun is here and the garden is reaping the sunshine. That said, all too soon it will be too damn hot; I hope to get some vegies harvested before they fry. Here, we race to beat the oncoming heat; back home in Iowa we race to beat the oncoming winter – just no heaven on earth. Cheers!
Well, enjoy your veggies while you can, anything you can grow during the real heat or is it not worth it due to water usage?I would gladly take some of your excess summer heat now,you have a nicer summer and I get spring finally.Paul, you use Bulldog and Missy for a weather push make sure Bulldog brings some paracord to help!
James, I share your concerns about water usage. I mulch heavily and use seeds from locally adapted native plants, when possible. (Nativeseeds.org). I put the raised beds on hold during the really hot weather and move all potted plants to the porch, protected from the sun and I mist them. The peppers and onions do well, the tomatoes survive and after the worst of the heat I can get some production from the tomatoes.
Hey Brother. Good find. love that song. thanks 🙂
No sun in my neck of the woods, winter, just go away already!
