The Death Penalty in China

China executes more people than the rest of the world combined and former railways minister Liu Zhijun is the next to get killed for massive corruption. Except his death sentence has been given a two year reprieve. Which almost always means 10-15 years in prison. Of course since as I have said, China executes a lot of people, most aren’t so lucky. That’s where prisoners of conscience and the illegal organ trade come into the picture.
